OCG Rulings
- The "attach that monster to this card as a face-up Xyz Material." effect is an Ignition Effect. (It targets 1 Special Summoned monster the opponent controls.)[1]
- The "You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard, then gain Life Points equal to the original ATK of this card." effect is a Trigger Effect that activates in the Graveyard. (This effect does not target. This effect can also be activated during the Damage Step.) [1]
- You cannot target a Token with the "attach that monster to this card as a face-up Xyz Material." effect. You can target "Embodiment of Apophis" while it is treated as a monster with the "attach that monster to this card as a face-up Xyz Material." effect. (The "attach that monster to this card as a face-up Xyz Material." effect resolves normally.)[2]
- After "Number C101: Silent Honor DARK" is Special Summoned from the Graveyard by its own effect, you gain Life Points equal to its original ATK. Because these effects are not considered to happen simultaneously, "Torrential Tribute" cannot be activated.[3]
- You can target a face-down monster with the "attach that monster to this card as a face-up Xyz Material." effect. If you do, it is attached to it as a face-up Xyz Material. (Because it is not treated as being flipped while on the field, Trigger Effects of Flip monsters are not activated.)[4]
- When the "attach that monster to this card as a face-up Xyz Material." effect resolves, if "Number C101: Silent Honor DARK" has left the field, since this effect cannot be applied, the targeted monster will remain in the Monster Card Zone.[5]
- If there are no copies of "Number 101: Silent Honor ARK" in your Graveyard, but you control a "Number C101: Silent Honor DARK" with "Number 101: Silent Honor ARK" attached as an Xyz Material, the "When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard while it has Xyz Material: You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard" effect can be activated when "Number C101: Silent Honor DARK" is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard.[6]
- If this card or "Number 101: Silent Honor ARK" targets an Xyz Monster with Xyz Materials attached to it, such as "Number 39: Utopia", only the targeted Xyz Monster will be attached and its Xyz Materials will be sent to the Graveyard.[7]
