OCG Rulings

• Revealing this card after your normal draw does not start a Chain Link.

• This card cannot be activated if you have no cards in your Deck.

• After this card is revealed during your normal draw, if this card is Set in your Spell & Trap Zone, you cannot activate it.

• After this card is revealed during your normal draw, if your Main Phase 1 ends and this card is not activated, this card is no longer revealed. (You cannot activate this card.)

• To activate this card, you must draw it for your normal draw while your opponent controls 3 or more monsters (counting both face-up and face-down monsters) and you control no cards (Monster, Spell and Trap Cards), then reveal it. (It remains revealed in your hand.) During your Main Phase 1 of that turn, you can activate it like any other Normal Spell Card.

• "while your opponent controls 3 or more monsters and you control no cards" is not a condition to activate this card, it is a condition to reveal it when you draw it for your normal draw. After "Symbol of Friendship" is revealed during your normal draw, it can be activated during your Main Phase 1 even if your opponent controls 2 or less monsters or you control a card.

• After "Symbol of Friendship" is revealed during your normal draw, if it is sent to the Graveyard by "Mind Crush", then added to your hand by "Magical Stone Excavation", you cannot activate it.

• Destiny HERO - Diamond Dude: If the top card revealed by the effect of "Destiny HERO - Diamond Dude" is "Symbol of Friendship", since it is a Normal Spell Card, it is sent to the Graveyard. During your Main Phase of your next turn, you can use the effect of the "Symbol of Friendship" that was sent to the Graveyard. When resolving the effect of "Symbol of Friendship", the effect "reveal 1 card from your Deck, and add it to your hand." is applied. You do not need "To activate this card, you must draw it for your normal draw in your Draw Phase while your opponent controls 3 or more monsters and you control no monsters, reveal it, and keep it revealed until the Main Phase 1.".

• Double Spell: "Double Spell" cannot target a "Symbol of Friendship" in your opponent's Graveyard.

• Serial Spell: "Serial Spell" can be activated in a chain to "Symbol of Friendship". In this case, when resolving "Serial Spell" as Chain Link 2, the effect "reveal 1 card from your Deck, and add it to your hand." effect is applied, then, when resolving "Symbol of Friendship" as Chain Link 1, the effect "reveal 1 card from your Deck, and add it to your hand." is applied. (Therefore, if you use the effect of "Serial Spell" and "Symbol of Friendship", you can add 2 cards from your Deck to your hand.)

• The Eye of Truth: Even while the effect of your opponent's "The Eye of Truth" is being applied, if you draw "Symbol of Friendship" for your normal draw while your opponent controls 3 or more monsters and you control no cards, since it was revealed since your normal draw, you can activate it during your Main Phase 1.

• Thunder King Rai-Oh: Even while the effect "Thunder King Rai-Oh" is being applied, if you draw "Symbol of Friendship" for your normal draw while your opponent controls 3 or more monsters and you control no cards, you can reveal it. If the effect "Thunder King Rai-Oh" is still being applied during your Main Phase 1, you cannot activate "Symbol of Friendship". (If the effect of "Thunder King Rai-Oh" is no longer applied, you can activate "Symbol of Friendship".)
