OCG Rulings
- "This card is unaffected by "Venom Swamp"." is a Continuous Effect. If the effect of "Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes" is negated by "Skill Drain" etc, then it will be affected by "Venom Swamp".[1]
- When "Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes" or "Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes" is destroyed by battle, removing from play the Reptile-Type monster is a cost. This effect is optional.[2]

- This card’s effect “This card is unaffected by "Venom Swamp".” means that counters will not be placed on it by "Venom Swamp". Additionally, it will not lose ATK for Venom Counters placed on it by other cards if "Venom Swamp" is in play.
- If this card is destroyed by battle with "Dark Ruler Ha Des", "Dark Ruler Ha Des'" effect negates this card's effect in the Graveyard, and it cannot be Special Summoned.
- Note the spelling of this card's name. It is not a "Venom" monster.
Mentions in Other Rulings
- Rise of the Snake Deity: You can activate multiple copies of this card in the same Chain when "Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes" is destroyed.
- Rise of the Snake Deity: You can activate this card when your "Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes" that is being treated as a Spell Card (by "Relinquished", etc.) is destroyed.
