- Q: I activated "Zero Extra Link", targeting my "Transcode Talker" linked to my opponent's "Triple Burst Dragon" in the Extra Monster Zone, and its effect is applying. After that, if my opponent activates "Imperial Order" and negates the effects of "Zero Extra Link", what happens if I use my "Transcode Talker" as a material to Link Summon "Decode Talker"?
- A: In this scenario, if the monster being targeted by "Zero Extra Link" is used as material for a Link Summon while the effects of "Zero Extra Link" are being negated by "Imperial Order", the effect that increases the ATK of the new Link Monster will still activate and create a Chain, but it is negated. Even if the effect of "Imperial Order" stops applying during that turn, the effect of "Zero Extra Link" is not applied.[1]
