- This card's effect activates everytime a Chain of 2 or more steps (that included at least 1 Spell or Trap card activation) is resolved. So, a good way to use this card is start a 2-steps' Chain, wait until the Chain resolves and when this card's effect activates, chain another Spell or Trap card. That will activate this card's effect again, allowing you chaining another Spell or Trap, to start over again. This combo requires some skill and understanding of how Chains work, but can inflict a lot of damage with few cards.
- Use this card in multiples to inflict maximum damage (you can do this with a card like "Inferno Reckless Summon").
- Use "Dark Room of Nightmare" to boost the damage inflicted by this card when you use it in a Burn Deck.
- Use direct damage cards like "Ceasefire", "Just Desserts" or "Secret Barrel" to inflict much damage in a single turn; and cards that replace themselves like "Accumulated Fortune", "Reckless Greed" and "Jar of Greed" to inflict damage and keep hand size.
- A card such as "Chain Strike" would also prove effective for decks that implement this card.
