Card Tips:Chaos Sorcerer
- This card can be searched by "Chaos Space", "Justice of Prophecy", "Timestar Magician", "Thelematech Clatis", "Spellbook Star Hall", "Lemon Magician Girl", "Ahrima, the Wicked Warden", "Chaos Zone", and other generic searchers.
- "Light of Intervention" can be used in conjunction with this card so your opponent cannot Set monsters, leaving them open for this card's effect.
- Special Summon this card, use its effect to banish one of your opponent's monsters, then Tribute/Synchro Summon/Xyz Summon into a more powerful monster.
- If a Spellcaster Deck is used, "Chaos Sorcerer" can be Special Summoned, then have at least one other Spellcaster in your field, and activate the effect of "Chaos Sorcerer" to banish one monster. Next, activate "Magicians Unite", have your other Spellcaster have 3000 ATK, and "Chaos Sorcerer" can't attack and still wouldn't by its effect.
- Use "Foolish Burial" to send the needed monsters to Summon "Chaos Sorcerer", then use "Light of Redemption", "D.D.R. - Different Dimension Reincarnation", "Return from the Different Dimension" or "Escape from the Dark Dimension" to recycle the monsters that was banished.
- "Thunder Dragon" is perfect for the required LIGHT monster; it can easily place itself in the Graveyard and thins your Deck making it more likely for this card to be drawn, since it cannot be searched by normal means ("Gold Sarcophagus" and "Different Dimension Capsule" can, however, search it). "Snipe Hunter" can then be used to discard the extra copies of "Thunder Dragon" and be used as the required DARK monster.
- Being Spellcaster, this card can be used with a Level 1 Tuner monster for "Arcanite Magician".
- If there are enough monsters to banish in your Graveyard, use cards like "Genex Ally Birdman" or "Compulsory Evacuation Device" to return this card to your hand, allowing yourself to Special Summon it once more and reuse its effect.
- In "Chaos Dragon" Decks, "Future Fusion" can set up this card's Special Summon.
Countering[edit]
- Use "Imperial Iron Wall" to prevent this card's Summon or to stop this card from banishing any of your monsters.
Traditional Format[edit]
- "Graceful Charity" can be used to quickly send the necessary monsters to your Graveyard and Summon this card.
- After using the effect of "Chaos Sorcerer" to banish a monster, this can be followed up with "Metamorphosis" and Summon a Level 6 Fusion Monster.
