Card Tips:Destiny HERO - Dogma
- This card can be searched by "Elemental HERO Stratos", "Elemental HERO Shadow Mist", "Xtra HERO Cross Crusader", "Evil Mind", "D - Tactics", "Chaos Space", "Fusion Conscription", "Fusion Reserve", "D - Time", "Exchange of Night and Day", "Infernoble Knight Captain Roland", "Iron Knight", "Ahrima, the Wicked Warden", "Magical Contract Door", "Chaos Zone", and other generic searchers.
- If the opponent controls a monster, combo "Inferno Reckless Summon" with a card like "D - Spirit" to have enough monsters to Tribute, as the ATK of many Destiny HERO monsters is below 1500.
- Use "Scapegoat"/"Dandylion" and "Destiny HERO - Malicious" to Summon this card.
- "Fires of Doomsday" can also be used, though during the turn that "Fires of Doomsday" is activated, its controller cannot Summon any monsters. To compensate for this, activate it during the opponent's turn.
- Use "Destiny Draw" or "Foolish Burial" to send "Destiny HERO - Malicious" to the Graveyard, then Special Summon "Grinder Golem" to the opponent's side of the field and Special Summon two Grinder Tokens. Banish "Destiny HERO - Malicious" from the Graveyard to Special Summon another copy of "Destiny HERO - Malicious" from the Deck to the field, and then Special Summon "Destiny HERO - Dogma".
- Use A Wild Monster Appears! to dump him on your opponent early in the game to shave off a big deal of Life Points.
- Try to get exactly 3 DARK monsters in the Graveyard by Tributing the Destiny HERO and two other DARK monsters to Summon this monster, then Special Summon "Dark Armed Dragon".
- A nice tip for this is Summoning a Destiny HERO Monster, after it you "Special Summon" "Caligo Claw Crow" and use "Instant Fusion" to Special Summon any Level 5 or lower DARK "Fusion Monster" from your Extra Deck and use them for the Special Summoning of this card.
- The effects of "Destiny HERO - Dreadmaster", if Summoned when a 4-Clock Counter "Clock Tower Prison" is destroyed, can also provide enough Tribute fodder for this card.
- Since this card halves the opponent's Life Points during their next Standby Phase, it might be wise to simply leave it on the field without attacking during the turn you Summon "Dogma". This will prevent it from running into Traps which might remove it from the field. In most situations, it will likely be able to wipe out whatever is left of the opponent's Life Points with a direct attack after its effect activates.
- This card is ideal to use in an Exodia Deck, since it is eligible with cards that let you draw more cards, such as "Trade-In", "Allure of Darkness" and "Destiny Draw".
- Try to Summon this card on the first turn and halve your opponent's Life Points to 4000. As the card changes Life Points instead of inflicting damage, your opponent will have a hard time trying to prevent its effect from activate.
- Combine with "Meteor Flare" to create an OTK.
