- This card can be searched by "Malefic Paradox Gear", "Malefic Selector", "Malefic Tune", "Malefic World", "Cybernetic Horizon", "Urgent Schedule", "Qliphort Genius", "Psychic Arsenal", "Orcust Crescendo", "Three-Eyed Ghost", "Ahrima, the Wicked Warden", "Chaos Zone", and other generic searchers.
- This card works well with "Eradicator Epidemic Virus". If the opponent uses a card like "Smashing Ground" to destroy it, simply Tribute it to destroy all of their Spell or Traps.
- It can be a free monster when you draw it (assuming you have a Field Spell) as its cost only requires you banish a monster from the Extra Deck.
- You can Tribute this monster for a "Great Maju Garzett" or use this card with "Limiter Removal" for a possible OTK with its 8000 ATK.
- Works very well with "Geartown" because if your opponent wants to destroy your Field Spell to remove this monster from the field, you can Special Summon an "Ancient Gear" monster for free.
- If used in a Machinatown Gadget Deck, it can also be used as discard fodder to Special Summon "Machina Fortress".
- You can also use this card in a "Meklord" Deck as the deck has 2 Field Spell Cards and this card's self destruction effect can bring out a "Meklord Emperor" if your opponent takes out the Field Spell.
- Use this card with "Ancient Fairy Dragon" to hunt for the Field Spell you need to Summon this card.
- Can be very useful in a Train deck, being a Level 10 Machine that can Special Summon itself, with "Revolving Switchyard" as the requisite Field Spell.
- An FTK can be performed in an Ancient Gear Toon deck with this card.
- First, activate "Toon Kingdom" and special summon "Malefic Cyber End Dragon". Equip the monster with "Vengeful Servant", activate "Shien's Spy", and activate "Shadow Toon" for a total of 8000 effect damage to your opponent's life points.
