- This card can be searched by "Hidden Armory", "Armory Call", "Vylon Cube", "Power Tool Dragon", "Ashoka Pillar", "Noble Knight's Spearholder", "Tool Box", "Infernoble Knight - Roland", "Gearbreed", "Vylon Delta", "Mikanko Rivalry", "Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu", "Power Tool Braver Dragon", "Vylon Sigma", "Fairy Tail - Rella", "Courageous Crimson Chevalier Bradamante", "Glory of the Noble Knights", and other generic searchers.
- Equip this card to "Clear Vice Dragon", since its ATK-related effect only works when it is attacking.
- Since this card obligatorily returns from the Graveyard to your Deck, you can use it in a "Superheavy Samurai" Deck, which benefits from having no Spell/Trap Cards in your Graveyard.
- Be wary of your opponent's cards that could negate this card's activation however, since this card's effect will not trigger as a result.
- Equip this card to monsters that reduce its own ATK to activate its effect (such as "Dark End Dragon" or "Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess") so that its ATK will be restored to its original value after the battle.
- While this card can be equipped to many monsters to take advantage of their battle-related effects, abuse this card by equipping it to weak monsters that have powerful battle-related effects, such as "Masked Chopper", "Truckroid", "Vampire Baby", "KA-2 Des Scissors", etc.
- "Jurrac Monoloph" and "Machine Lord Ür" can attack all monsters your opponent controls.
- Equip to "Armed Protector Dragon" to have a monster that essentially cannot be destroyed in battle while protecting the Equip Spell from destruction by card effects.
- This card is a really good counter against ATK altering effects like "Honest", since it is a continuous effect which will in most cases resolve last, except against similar effects. If for example two players fight with monsters equipped with MMS the effect of the turn player resolves last and he will win the fight.
- The ATK-altering effect of "The Wicked Avatar" is a Continuous Effect, this means "Avatar" will always win the battle regardless of the chain orders.
Traditional Format[edit]
- This card's first effect makes it a good way to counter "Apoqliphort Towers" and a "The Tyrant Neptune" that was Tribute Summoned with "Lyrilusc - Independent Nightingale".
- This card can set up the Cyber-Stein OTK. Equip this card to that monster(Before or after summoning a Fusion Monster with its effect), and attack one of your opponent's monsters, before activating "Clashing Souls". Because of this card, "Cyber-Stein" will 'win' the battle, and your opponent's field will be empty, allowing you to finish your opponent off with your Fusion Monster.
- A good candidate for the OTK is "Archfiend Black Skull Dragon", since your opponent will not be able to use cards like "Battle Fader" or "Swift Scarecrow" to protect themselves from the attack.
- In a Machine Deck, "Chimeratech Rampage Dragon" is also a good Fusion Monster to choose, since it can dump two LIGHT Machines to attack two more times.
