Card Tips:Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon
- This card can also be Xyz Summoned by using "Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force" on "Hieratic Dragon King of Atum".
- Note that this card's effect requires an opponent's card effect to resolve in order for it to gain 1000 ATK and be able to attack a second time. This means cards such as "Seven Tools of the Bandit", "Solemn Judgment" and "Trap Jammer" that negate the activations of cards prevent them from resolving and will not allow this card to gain its effect.
- Cards like "Trap Stun" allow Trap Cards activated during the Battle Phase to resolve, but negates their effects at the same time.
- This card can be useful in destroying monsters that are rather hard to get rid of such as "Marshmallon", "Spirit Reaper", a blockade of "Shield Wing", "Number 39: Utopia" or "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon".
- In addition it can remove the hindering effects of certain monsters such as "Photon Crusher", "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" or "Beast King Barbaros".
- If your opponent tries to stop this card's attack with something like "Dimensional Prison" or "Mirror Force", respond with "Forbidden Lance". Your opponent's card effect will still resolve, as "Lance" does not negate, and then this card's effect will neutralize the ATK reduction of "Lance" and grant it an extra attack.
- Decks such as "Photon", "Galaxy", "Hieratic", or even "Blue-Eyes" or "Felgrand"-based Dragon Decks can Summon this card easily.
- Activate "Tannhauser Gate" and target 2 "Heroic Challenger - Extra Sword" to Xyz Summon this card and give it a 2000 ATK boost.
- This card can also be used with "Honest" to inflict even more damage, and possibly an OTK.
- This card's effect can be useful against a "Madolche" Deck because most of their effects activate during the Battle Phase, after being destroyed, allowing this card to attack again with 4000 or more ATK.
- Considering that your opponent has "Madolche Waltz", "Madolche Ticket" and any one "Madolche" monster when this card attacked, this card will gain 3000 ATK, at least.
- This card is also useful against a "Kozmo" Deck. Not only will the negation prevent the activation of the effects of the Psychic-Types, such as "Kozmo Farmgirl", but it will also trigger the second part when the Machine-Types like "Kozmo Forerunner" are destroyed by battle, giving yourself the ATK boost and the second attack to deal with the newly-Summoned monster.
- In a "Hieratic" Deck, this card's effect can be used to reverse the ATK reduction to 0 sustained by Dragon-Type monsters that have been Special Summoned by the effects of "Hieratic" monsters.
- When + 1000 ATK (or more) is successfully gained from this card effect and attacking again, "Rank-Up-Magic Quick Chaos" can be activated to Summon "Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon" for more damage, possibly achieving an OTK (if the second attack of this card was a direct attack).
