- This card can be searched by "Archfiend General", "Terraforming", "Metaverse", "Ancient Fairy Dragon", "Cosmo Queen, the Queen of Prayers", "Set Rotation", "Planet Pathfinder", "Cattycorn", "Horned Saurus", "Demise of the Land", "Pop-Up", "Rainbow Bridge of Salvation", "Majesty Pegasus, the Dracoslayer", "An Owl of Luck", "Ghostrick Renovation", "Madolche Butlerusk", "Earthbound Servant Geo Kraken", "Favorite Hero", and other generic searchers.
- This card allows player to not pay the maintenance cost for their "Archfiend" monsters while keeping them on the field, but it does not remove the maintenance cost entirely, instead making it optional. This means a player can still choose to pay the maintenance cost of a monster targeted by "Battle-Scarred" to force their opponent to pay the same amount.
- This card works well with cards that destroy themselves, other "Archfiend" monsters, or Fiend monsters, such as "Mist Archfiend", "Cyber Archfiend", "Archfiend's Roar", "Archfiend Commander", "Archfiend Emperor, the First Lord of Horror", or "Hate Buster".
- In addition to general Field Spell protection from cards like "Field Barrier" or "Magic Reflector", this card can also be protected from destruction by "Pandemonium Watchbear".
