Card Tips:Uria, Lord of Searing Flames
- This card can be searched by "Dark Summoning Beast", "Phantasmal Summoning Beast", "Dark Beckoning Beast", "Opening of the Spirit Gates", "Infernal Flame Banshee", "Fusion Conscription", "Fusion Reserve", "Hiita the Fire Charmer, Ablaze", "Hiita the Fire Channeler", "Gizmek Makami, the Ferocious Fanged Fortress", "Piri Reis Map", "Umbramirage the Elemental Lord", "Sangan", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.
- This card can combo well with "Anti-Spell Fragrance", as that Trap Card can either be used to Summon this card or render your opponent's Spell Cards vulnerable to this card's effect.
- Use cards like "Reasoning" and "Monster Gate" to help boost this card's ATK (preferably after this card is Summoned).
- Use Trap Cards that have maintenance costs, like "Mirror Wall", so that you can skip on paying their costs in order to power this card up.
- The Continuous Trap Cards "Gravity Bind", "Nightmare Wheel", and "Ordeal of a Traveler" can be used to stall your opponent until you can Summon this card
- You can use Trap Monsters to defend your Life Points, and use them to Summon this card.
- "Imperial Custom" can protect the cards that are need for Tribute and can be used as Tribute itself.
- Note that you don't necessarily need Continuous Trap Cards to Special Summon this card, just Trap Cards that stay on the field. As such, you can use Equip Trap Cards to Summon this card, but at the cost of not contributing towards this card's ATK.
Traditional Format[edit]
- You can use "Painful Choice" to send 4 continuous Trap Cards to the Graveyard to have "Uria" gain 4,000 ATK.
- "Makyura the Destructor" can help to activate Trap Cards and Special Summon "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames" on the same turn, instead of setting them and waiting for the next turn.
- Use this card to systematically clear your opponent's Spell and Trap Cards, then play "Metamorphosis" to turn it into a "Cyber End Dragon" and set up a One Turn Kill.
