- When this card is Normal Summoned, for an easy Synchro Summon, you can do one of the following:
- Special Summon an "X-Saber Palomuro" from your hand and tune it with this card to get "X-Saber Wayne".
- Special Summon an "X-Saber Pashuul" from your hand and tune it with this card to get "XX-Saber Hyunlei".
- Special Summon an "X-Saber Airbellum"/"XX-Saber Fulhelmknight" from your hand and tune it with this card to get "X-Saber Urbellum" or "X-Saber Souza".
- This card easily fulfills the requirements for "XX-Saber Faultroll".
- You can Normal Summon this card and Special Summon an "X-Saber Airbellum" from your hand using its effect, which while you control two or more "X-Saber" monsters, you can Special Summon an "Faultroll". You can tune your Level 3 "Airbellum" with your Level 6 "Faultroll" to Synchro Summon a Level 9 "XX-Saber Gottoms". Then, you can Tribute your "Boggart Knight" for the effect of "Gottoms" to discard 1 random card in your opponent's hand.
- You can Normal Summon this card and Special Summon an "X-Saber Pashuul" from your hand using its effect, which while you control two or more "X-Saber" monsters, you can Special Summon an "Faultroll". You can tune your Level 2 "Pashuul" with your Level 4 "Boggart Knight" to Synchro Summon a Level 6 "XX-Saber Hyunlei" and destroy 3 Spell or Trap Cards. Then, you can Special Summon your "Boggart Knight" from the Graveyard, giving you 2 monsters--one with 2300 and one with 1900. If there are 2 "Faultrolls" in your hand, you can Normal Summon this, then Special Summon "Pashuul". Then, Special Summon both "Faultrolls". Synchro for "Hyunlei", then use "Faultroll" to bring them both back and Synchro again to wipe out their back row, and be left with 2 2400 beatsticks and 2 2300 beatsticks.
- Another good strategy is to Normal Summon this card, then Special Summon an "Pashuul". Then, still Special Summon an "Faultroll" and tune "Boggart Knight" and "Pashuul" into "Hyunlei". Afterwards, use the effect of "Faultroll" to Summon back "Pashuul", then tune "Hyunlei" and "Pashuul" into a Level 8 Synchro Monster. Now, you will have both a Level 8 Synchro and a "Faultroll" out, whose effect you can use again to Summon another "X-Saber" from your Graveyard on your next turn.
- Special Summon "XX-Saber Ragigura" with this card for an easy recycle without having to Summon the vulnerable "Ragigura" alone.
- Additionally, if you choose to recycle "XX-Saber Faultroll" you can easily Special Summon him since (given both Summons were successful) you already control 2 face-up "X-Saber" monsters.
- This card can be used with "XX-Saber Emmersblade" for a quick Rank 4 monster if needed. Simply Normal Summon this card, use its effect to Summon "Emmersblade", and then suicide "Emmersblade" into one of your opponent's monsters to summon another copy of this card.
- This card's 1900 ATK makes it the strongest "X-Saber" monster in the archetype that can be Summoned without any requirements, and thus, it can simply be used to beat over most of your opponent's non-Extra Deck monsters.
