• In the OCG, this monster is named after Song Jiang (read in Japanese as Sō Kō) and "tiger" (ko).
  • Song Jiang ranks 1st of the 36 Heavenly Spirits of the 108 Liangshan heroes and is nicknamed "Protector of Justice".
    • Its nickname can also be related to the effect of "Tiger King".

• This monster is one of the cover cards of the 2014 Mega-Tins and Nature Pack: Blazing Heroes.

• This monster appears in the artworks of "Ultimate Fire Formation - Seito" and "Ultimate Fire Formation - Sinto".

• This card's ATK and DEF are the inverse of those of "Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Cardinal".

• This monster, "Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Lion Emperor" are the only "Fire Fist" monsters with white flames.
  • White flames are often the most focused and hottest flames.
