Card Trivia:Destiny End Dragoon
- This monster appears in the artwork of "Fusion Destiny".
- A "dragoon" was a class of mounted infantry that was trained in the use of firearms, specifically a one-handed type of blunderbuss reputedly called a "dragon"; this firearm may be the basis for the design of the dragon-headed weapon on this monster's left arm.
- This card's Japanese name, "Dragoon D-END", and its English name, "Destiny End Dragoon", are a pun on "The End": it was known as the "Final D Card" and was the last "Destiny HERO"-related card to appear in the Yu-Gi-Oh GX anime, additionally marking the end of the "Destiny HERO" archetype in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX era.
- This is one of the few cards in the OCG whose Japanese name consists of only English alphabetical characters and punctuation, excluding furigana characters. Other notable examples include "Destiny HERO - Plasma", "Assault Revival", "NEX", "ZERO-MAX", and the "Legendary Planets" (except "Elemental HERO Terra Firma").
- This card shares the same Attribute, Level, Type, ATK and DEF as "Destiny HERO - Dusktopia".
- Both cards were used by Aster Phoenix and his alternate dimension counterpart in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime and the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime.
- In addition, both cards have opposite effects: the effects of “Destiny End Dragoon” can destroy monsters and inflict damage equal to the ATK of that monster on the field, while the effects of “Dusktopia” can protect monsters from destruction and prevents battle damage from battles involving that monster.
- This card is the "Destiny HERO" counterpart of "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman".
- Both are Fusion Monsters that served as the ace monsters of Aster Phoenix and Jaden Yuki respectively in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.
- Both monsters have an arm cannon shaped like the head of a dragon, with the cannon of "Flame Wingman" being on its right arm and the cannon of "Destiny End Dragoon" being on its left arm.
- Both cards have an effect that inflicts damage to the opponent equal to the destroyed monster's ATK; however, "Destiny End Dragoon" prevents the player from conducting their Battle Phase when it destroys a monster this way, while the effect of "Flame Wingman" only activates when it destroys a monster in battle.
