Card Trivia:Dragon's Rage
- "The Dragon Dwelling in the Cave" appears in this card's artwork.
- This card's Japanese name, "Dragon's Imperial Rage" (竜の逆鱗, Ryū no Gekirin), is derived from the idiom 逆鱗に触れる gekirin ni fureru, which means to infuriate one's superior. The card's support for the Dragon-type is derived from the etymology of "reverse scale" (逆鱗 gekirin), as it usually refers to a dragon scale growing in the opposite direction, which will infuriate the dragon if touched.
- This is the first Trap Card, as well as the first Continuous Trap Card to feature a piercing effect.
