• This is one of the cover cards of Structure Deck: Joey Volume 2, the Collectible Tins 2005 and Legendary Collection 4: Joey's World.

• This monster has two counterparts: "Gilford the Legend" and "Gilford the Rising".

• This card's second OCG artwork and first TCG artwork is taken from Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 248 (Duelist Duel 189): "God's Third Power!", specifically from the panel where this monster is shown attacking Dark Marik directly.

• This card's ability to be Tribute Summoned by using 3 monsters may be a reference to the Egyptian God Cards.
  • Joey Wheeler was the only Battle City semifinalist to not own a God card, so this card may have represented a desire to prove himself equal to his competitors.
  • All the God cards share the effect that they must be Tribute Summoned by Tributing 3 monsters.
