- This monster appears in the artwork of "Meteor Stream".
- This monster is based on Seto Kaiba. Its Japanese name "カイバーマン" (Kaibāman) may be a pun on "Kaiba" and "Superman" (スーパーマン Sūpāman).
- This monster's helmet is based on the head of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", Seto Kaiba's signature card which this card can be used to Special Summon.
- In Yu-Gi-Oh! GX episode The Fear Factor", 34: "Kaibaman is wearing a card necklace just like the one Kaiba and Mokuba wore. The monster was supposedly designed by Seto Kaiba himself, and even uses a Deck similar to Kaiba's.
- This card is considered a rival with "Black Dragon's Chick", as both cards are modeled after the Dragons that they can Special Summon from the hand by being sent to the Graveyard.
- A part of this card's Japanese name translates to "Ally of Justice". However, the actual archetype "Ally of Justice" is anti-support for LIGHT monsters, whereas this monster is indeed a LIGHT monster. Furthermore, they have different name writings despite being read the same.
- In the videogame, Yu-Gi-Oh! Reshef of Destruction, there is a "Kaibaman show" held in Kaiba Land.
