Yes. You see, Man Eater Bug's flip effect is mandatory as it lacks the key word "can". If the effect stated "You can destroy one monster on the field", then it would be optional. However the effect states "Destroy one monster on the field". Thus, the effect HAS to go off.
Right, you don't have a choice in the effect, so if it’s the only monster on the field and it was flipped with Swords of Revealing Light, you'd have to destroy man eater.
