Forum:BTH vs Evol

Hey guys just a question about "BTH" like the fact it says here [1], BTH can negate more than 1 summon. To save all the trouble i will post it here.

  • "If "Bottomless Trap Hole" is activated when multiple monsters are Special Summoned simultaneously, then all Summoned monsters with 1500+ ATK are destroyed.
  • Example: Two copies of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" are Special Summoned by "Dimension Fusion". If "Bottomless Trap Hole" is activated, then both copies of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" are destroyed. "

Now i ask if "Evoltile Najasho" was tributed by "Evo-Force" and i get 2 "Evolsaurs" monsters with more than 1500 ATK, can BTH negate those summons or just 1 of them?

And if it can only negate 1 summon, it means that i can only negate more summons when it's with the case of "Return from the Different Dimension"?

I am glad you asking that. I am sure you only kill one of them - since Najasho only summoned 1 while Evo-Force summoned the other. Therefore it making the chain resolved. But hey, I can be wrong - I watched my opponent using Evol deck and have those combine many times - he only summoned 1 Evol by "Evo-Force" first before using Najasho's effect to activate. --FredCat 21:26, March 9, 2012 (UTC)
Btw, BTH dosen't negate summons. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:12, March 10, 2012 (UTC)
Lol Humm... forget every "negate" in the first post and imagine that i said destroyed :D

Yeah normally those Najasho/Evo-force combo is 2 summons but those summons are as quick as the effect of Return from the Different Dimension.--Nexus Shiker(Talk) 04:49, March 10, 2012 (UTC)

If 2 or more monsters with 1500 or more ATK are summoned simultaneously, BTH will destroy all of them. As long as those monsters didn't come out through an effect that was Chain Link 2 or higher. --> Summoned Skull 2: Electric Boogaloo 04:55, March 10, 2012 (UTC)

What happens with Najasho and Force is this:

Activation: Force Tributes Najasho...

Resolution:...and Summons an Evolsaur.

Then, Najasho and the newly Summoned Evolsaur activate their effects in another Chain as per SEGOC.

Activation: Najasho/Evolsaur activate their effects, in whichever order the Turn Player chooses. At this point, the opponent may activate BTH to destroy the Evolsaur.

Resolution: The original Evolsaur is banished if BTH was used; either way, its effect resolves. Najasho Summons another Evolsaur.

Note that, if Force Summoned an Evolsaur Vulcano, its own Special Summon effect does not occur at the same time as Najasho's, but is on the same Chain. 207.233.120.2 (talk) 16:47, March 12, 2012 (UTC)
