Please let me know what you think and how these decks can be improved.

The best Red-Eyes is Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon. If you focus on that, then the deck will be a lot stronger.BobaFett2 (talk)

For the LV deck, I would recommend focusing on one MAYBE two different LV monsters. The problem with running with so many different LV monsters are dead draws. On your monster list you have 11 monsters you can't even summon without the help of a tribute or a magic card and that means you have less cards on the field and in your hand to help you with whatever your opponent has against you. You might also want to add the magic card cost down. It can be very helpful to you in that type of deck. Johntheazn (talkcontribs) 20:06, July 19, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the advice, Johntheazn. I'll probably end up splitting them into 2-3 decks.

BobaFett2, I'd prefer to have a deck suited to a general Red-Eyes Strategy, as it is incredibly versatile, what with all the fusions, forms and such. Besides, I feel that the Red-Eyes Darkness Metal is quite useful in a Red-Eyes exclusive deck, if you know what I mean?

Yeah, I understand. Perhaps you should focus on Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon instead. Also, use Ancient Rules instead of Red-Eyes B. Chick (Chick is technically not a Red-Eyes monster).BobaFett2 (talk)

True, but Red-Eyes B. Chick does come in handy when running a Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon, as it is a Dragon-type. Still, I see your point, trying to get my hands on a copy of Ancient Rules. Found a few strategies to power up my Red-Eyes deck.

I have some experience with the lvl deck... let me help u out a little. Here're some simple pointers:

1. Use only one kind of LVL monster. 2. Use lots of level modulator cards (both lvl up and lvl down) 3. Use searcher cards to locate the lower LVL cards. 4. Use spell/trap to negate attack. 5. Use spell/traps to cover your monster's weakness. 6. Use cards to swap your hand with your deck. 7. Limit your deck to 40.

I'll explain. 1. You need to focus on only one type of monster cuz the point of LVL deck is GETTING YOUR TRUMP OUT AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. LVL decks need no tribute summon. You dont need to use SEARCHING CARDS to locate your higher level cards, as they will be leveled up for you. If you have too many LVL types, you risk yourself of drawing TOO MANY HIGH LVL CARDS, and get into a hand lock. Best keep ur low level monsters at 3 copies, and high LVL at 2-1 copies.

2. YOu'll tell me "my cards have lots of weaknesses". Eg: Horus is afraid of traps. The truth is: The lesser ur LVL monster types are, the less weakness they have, as their weakness wont crash into each other. If you only use Horus, then just get urself anti-traps and anti-monsters. If you use like armour dragon in your deck too, you'll have to take care of the spell cards as well (assuming your horus is nt max LVL yet).

3. LVL up is ok, but why LVL down? LVL down is a QUICK PLAY SPELL!!! It gives lvl monsters the flexibility it needs. Eg: YOur oponent uses man-eater bug, and targets ur Armour Dragon LVL 8. You just need to lvl it down to LVL 6. Ta-dah!!! Ur monster is not destroyed, and you get another chance to attack with ur Armour dragon.

4. Use searcher cards to search for low LVL card. Reason is b.cuz ur LVL monster is weak, and at most u have is 3 copies. Lets say i use some searcher cards, say 7 of them. Means i get 7 + 3 ori = 10 cards. Ur chance of getting em is 10/40 or 25%. If you draw 5 cards, there is a HIGH possiblity that you can get ur dragon out in 1-2 turns.

Just follow the tips above... wont go too wrong at any rate. Once u have won a significant number of battles, you'll see that all the tips above are quite useful. One thing tho, the time will come when u see the tips above as "not so correct", then feel free to change ur style.

EDIT: Just added in my new Synchro deck. I've decided to add a few Golem Dragons into the deck, just to spice things up, adding to the fact that I rarely stray from a Dragon-Type deck and am working on upgrading my Red-Eyes deck. Thanks for all the advice, guys. I'm hoping to get more advice as things progress and will update this topic with my new decks once I have upgraded them. 58.111.172.247 (talk) 01:55, August 3, 2011 (UTC)
