Forum:Satellarknight Deneb and Vega

I found out that by summoning Satellarknight Deneb and Satellarknight Vega at the same time you can special summon the card added by Deneb. However, can you do this if you possess no Satellarknight monsters in hand? (because Vega's eff would activate in the same chain as Deneb, that is, before the adding). If you cannot, how do you prove to your opponent you have a Satellarknight in hand? Do you have to show them a card from your hand? Thechosenone124 (talkcontribs) 07:06, October 16, 2014 (UTC)

If you opp doesn't believe you, he can call a judge to investigate if you was cheating or not.-- (talkcontribs) 09:18, October 16, 2014 (UTC)

You have to have a target in hand before you can activate Vega's effect. If you have no target you can't activate Vega's effect. If you already had a target in hand, then yes you'd be able to summon the one you added with Deneb. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 20:00, October 16, 2014 (UTC)

Thanks! So basically, you need to have a target in hand, but you are not obligated to reveal that target. Thechosenone124 (talkcontribs) 22:46, October 16, 2014 (UTC)

If you have a valid target ALREADY you don't reveal. Your opponent may still call a judge but it's legal. If you have a target in hand you put Vega as chain link 1 and Deneb as chain link 2, chain resolves backwards so Deneb searches then Vega activates and summons one of the viable targets in hand.
