Why did they make Tinplate Archduke so outclassed by all the other triple rank 4s? 99.162.190.109 (talk) 22:21, March 15, 2012 (UTC)

Because they want to create something that similar to "Book of Taiyou" or so that don't triggering the effect... --FredCat 22:22, March 15, 2012 (UTC)
Number 16: Shock Master, declare Monster Effects. Then declare something better next turn. 99.162.190.109 (talk) 22:24, March 15, 2012 (UTC)

BUt Shark Drake and Illuminknight are better. Shark Drake is double attack and Illuminkight is hand consistancy. Adamtheamazing64 (talkcontribs) 03:22, March 16, 2012 (UTC)

Illumiknight is okay but I'd rather use Tinplate Archduke simply because it's an out to a lot of cards. As for Shark Drake, eh, Shock Master is better. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 12:54, March 16, 2012 (UTC)

Guys, not EVERY card is balanced, some cards just suck -.---Helix-king (talkcontribs) 13:30, March 16, 2012 (UTC)

I guess it's like previous formats' Trish vs. Mist Wurm. Mist Wurm was known as the poor man's Trish. And for those who didn't even have Mist Wurm (like me for a while) there was Ally of Justice Field Marshal. Different options for different decks and budgets. Doesn't make them entire good, but they're options nonetheless. Djjomon (talkcontribs) 14:34, March 16, 2012 (UTC)

Except the fact that Mist Wurm target 3 on the field, Trishula only target 1 on the field (other in hand and in the Graveyard). But yes, you're right - Mist Wurm is Poor Man's Trishula at that way. --FredCat 14:38, March 16, 2012 (UTC)

Oh, and in my opinion Vylon Disigma and Shock Master are the best Rank 4 Xyz Monsters that use 3 materials. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 16:25, March 16, 2012 (UTC)

Poor Verz Ouroboros, noone picked him.
It's my personal choice over the others because it can do multiple things, useful in most situations.

Only that he can do them once per turn, unfortunate. --FredCat 11:39, March 17, 2012 (UTC)
And unless you invest in some flipping shenanigans, you can't do the same thing twice. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 06:05, March 18, 2012 (UTC)

I think that most 3-material rank 4s are worthy of honorable mention, except Tinplate Archduke, unless you intend to use him as some kind of "poor man's Number 32: Marine Biting Dragon - Shark Drake." 99.162.190.109 (talk) 11:41, March 17, 2012 (UTC)

Ouroboros is terrible, unless your deck can loop with it. I will always stand by this opinion. --> Summoned Skull 2: Electric Boogaloo 06:09, March 18, 2012 (UTC)

Well I don't know about you but my Extra Deck is packed to the brim as it is, it's useful to have cards that have multiple uses.

I agree with that, but I just don't find Ouroboros worth the trouble. I won't even use it in Verz. --> Summoned Skull 2: Electric Boogaloo 17:21, March 18, 2012 (UTC)
