Kite Tenjo is a Duelist Construct of Kite Tenjo from the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL series in the Virtual Dueling System. He is also the first boss that the player has to face in a 2 out of 3 Match in the ZEXAL Campaign mode Stage 13-5 in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation. The player has to defeat him in a Duel in order to unlock the next stage and progress through the Campaign.

Appearance[edit]
As a Duelist Construct, his appearance is based on Kite Tenjo, and the outfit and looks comes from the time in which he undergoes a Photon Transformation in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime series. A Photon Transformation is a process that Kite is often seen using in a Duel to prevent any "Number" cards in his possession from influencing his mental state by using his hidden desires. Also, this transformation changes his original outfit color, which is black, to white.
On his left eye is a special blue tattoo that functions like a Duel Gazer. Just like the Duel Gazer, this special tattoo allows him to see the augmented reality setting of a Duel.
Etymology[edit]
His given name "Kite" could originate from either the aircraft kite and/or the bird Kite, which is a common name for certain birds of prey in the family Accipitridae. His surname "Tenjo" is of Japanese origin, and it has many meanings and connotations. The most common meaning for "Tenjo" is heaven, a concept that deity or earthly beings may reside in the afterlife. Also, another concept for heaven is the celestial sphere, the sky seen from the perspective of Earth.
Rewards[edit]
There are a total of six rewards that the player can earn after defeating the Duel Construct in a Duel. The first two rewards are cards that come from the Duel Construct's Deck, and the third reward is a recipe for their Deck. The fourth, fifth, and sixth rewards repeat the same process of the three earlier rewards, but on a harder difficulty with a different Deck. In addition, the sixth reward will allow the player to have the Duel Construct's avatar and the ability to Duel them anytime between the two difficulties.
As Kite is a boss character, the player has to face him in 2 out of 3 Match, which can take an hour to complete and receive the rewards.
