The only ones with visible names were "Summoned Skull", "Hell-Bound", and "Giant Soldier of Stone". Another card from this scene appeared, labeled only as an "ally", as a character in the dice game included with Yu-Gi-Oh! volume 3: "Capsule Monster Chess".

Yugi's Duel 010 cards[edit]

During Dark Yugi and Seto Kaiba's school Duel, Yugi played several monsters in an attempt to stall his opponent's powerful "Giant's Might"-equipped "Battle Ox", which were all quickly destroyed by "Battle Ox". Of the visible monsters destroyed this way, three of them were unnamed: "Half-Fish Man", a Level 3 monster, and a bald monster. "Half-Fish Man" was not named in the manga, but was named in other merchandise, such as the Yu-Gi-Oh! Super Complete Book.

Kaiba's Duel 010 monster[edit]

During Dark Yugi and Seto Kaiba's school Duel, Kaiba played an unnamed magician-looking monster.

Yugi's Death-T monsters[edit]

In Death T-5, Yugi's final showdown with Kaiba at Death-T, Yugi used several unnamed monsters. The first three seen are all destroyed by Kaiba's powered-up "Saggi the Dark Clown," while the fourth appears in Yugi's hand. The second and third monsters were replaced by "Chimera" and "Gremlin", respectively, in the Toei anime adaptation.

Kaiba's Death-T monster[edit]

In Death T-5, Yugi's final showdown with Kaiba at Death-T, while his "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" were immobilized by Yugi's "Swords of Revealing Light", Kaiba played a turtle-like monster in Defense Position. It appears in both the manga and the Toei anime.

In Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 60 (Duelist Duel 1): "Challenge!!", Katsuya Jonouchi had a deck consisting exclusively of Monster Cards. At least ten of the cards are partially visible, without their names being readable or mentioned.

Yugi's round monster[edit]

In Dark Yugi and Insector Haga's Duel, Yugi played a spherical, insect-like monster in Defense Position.

Ventriloquist of the Dead's monster[edit]

In Dark Yugi and the Ventriloquist of the Dead's Duel, the Ventriloquist of the Dead played a one-eyed monster. Like the rest of the Ventriloquist's cards, it likely originally belonged to Kaiba's Deck.

In the anime, in which the Ventriloquist of the Dead was replaced by the Impersonator of Death, the Impersonator used "Mystic Horseman" instead.

Mai's Equip Card[edit]

In Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 77 (Duelist Duel 18): "On My Own", in a Duel between Mai Kujaku and a generic Duelist, Mai used an Equip Card to upgrade her "Harpy Lady Sisters" into "Harpy Queens", distinguished by their new tiaras.

Mai's opponent's monster[edit]

Among these cards are a Level 3 monster, a Level 4 monster, a Level 5 monster, and a monster with one visible Level star.

Chicken[edit]

In Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 93 (Duelist Duel 34): "Deathtrap Dungeon!", while the Meikŷu Brothers explain the rules of the Labyrinth Duel, a Level 3 chicken-like monster is shown.

In the anime, the chicken was replaced with "Penguin Knight".

Pegasus's monster[edit]

In Yugi and Pegasus's Duelist Kingdom Duel, Pegasus uses this monster and "Dark-Eyes Illusionist" to Ritual Summon "Relinquished". "Relinquished" has the appearance of a combination of "Dark-Eyes Illusionist" and this card.

In the anime, Pegasus uses "Dark-Eyes Illusionist" alone for the Ritual Summon.

Since it met the conditions for "Black Illusion Ritual", it is an Illusion-Type monster and has less than 100 ATK.

Ryuzaki's monster[edit]

In Dinosaur Ryuzaki and Esper Roba's Duel, Dinosaur Ryuzaki used this monster. Esper Roba put it to sleep with "Mesmeric Control", before destroying it with "Jinzo".

In the anime, it is replaced with "Serpent Night Dragon".

Battle City participants' monsters[edit]

In Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 100 (Duelist Duel 41): "Duel Disk Battle!", two generic Battle City Duelists were shown using these two cards, one of which is a dragon, while the other is a knight.

Pandora's monster[edit]

In Dark Yugi and Pandora's Duel, Pandora used a pumpkin-headed monster, which he later sacrifices along with Yugi's "Beta the Magnet Warrior" by way of "Coffin of Dark Resurrection" in order to Summon "Dark Magician".

In the anime, he uses "Mystic Tomato" instead.

Jim's monster[edit]

Jim Crocodile Cook used this monster against Bastion Misawa. He Tributed it alongside "Spawn Alligator" to Tribute Summon "The Tyrant Neptune". The effect of "The Tyrant Neptune" makes its own ATK the combined value of the Tributed monsters. Its ATK here was 3800, implying that this card's ATK was 1600, since the ATK of "Spawn Alligator" is 2200.[5]

Cards in Kaiba's collection[edit]

Cards in Kaiba's briefcase[edit]

In episode 3, Seto Kaiba tried to trade Sugoroku Mutou's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", with an entire briefcase of rare cards. Sugoroku declined the offer due to the sentimental value he had for "Blue-Eyes" (it was given to him by an old friend). In the episode, two different scenes of the top of Kaiba's briefcase were shown, with different cards shown in each scene. Several of the cards are cards that have appeared elsewhere ("Battle Ox", "Skull Servant", etc.), but many unnamed cards appear as well.[11]

Cards used during Yugi and the nurse puppet's Duel[edit]

In episode 8, Yugi Mutou dueled a nurse puppet that was controlled by Ridley Sheldon. The duel was interrupted part-way through, and the episode showed a variety of cards used by both players, including "Mushroom Man", "Hellcat", "Sun", and many unnamed cards. In the background, the monster "Ghost" was shown fighting a silhouette that resembles "Dark Magician", and later "Koumori Dragon" was shown fighting a silhouette similar to "Mystical Elf". Several cards were then shown falling in front of Yugi, including "Gremlin" and "Death Wolf". The montage ends when the nurse puppet plays "Aphrodite".

At the end of the duel, while Yugi was sorting his cards, the nurse puppet took "Neon Knight" from him. A Monster Card representing some kind of beast (with 400 ATK and 200 DEF) was visible under "Neon Knight".[12]

Yugi's cards during Risa's attack[edit]

In Yu-Gi-Oh! (Toei) episode 01515: "Eerie Woman!! Unable to Transform", Risa Kageyama tried to steal the card "Red Hecate" from Yugi Mutou's deck. When she is discovered, she had thrown away many of Yugi's cards, including three unnamed ones.[13]

Cards in Yugi and Kaiba's Death-T duel[edit]

Two unnamed monsters were used in the Duel between Yami Yugi and Kaiba (one monster by each player, at the end of the Death-T arc). Both monsters were set in Defense Position and were not shown clearly. Yugi's monster was destroyed by Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", and Kaiba's monster lasted until Yugi had drawn the five pieces of "Exodia".[14]

Yu-Gi-Oh![edit]

Gorilla monster[edit]

A gorilla-like monster wearing a spiked shoulder harness used against Leon von Schroeder in a flashback. It is destroyed by the effect of Leon's "Seven Kids," winning Leon the Duel.[15]

A Trap Card tripped by Yuma multiple times while riding the Duel Coaster, which shoots a spring-loaded giant boxing glove to deal 200 damage to him.[22]

Hyakunin Isshu Field[edit]

A Field Spell Card used during the Friendship Games.[23] The "Duel" held here is similar to a game of Karuta. This field was cut from the English dub, likely because of the difficulty of translating the Karuta-like "Duel" for western viewers.

Alito's Spell[edit]

Alito used an unnamed Spell Card to change his Warrior-Type "Battlin' Boxer Big Bandages" to Beast-Type. The card was neither shown nor seen, but his opponent Girag asked him why he "used that Spell Card" to do so. The card went unmentioned entirely in the dub.[24]
