However Bakura and Anzu, who were still influenced by Marik's brainwashing, acted pleased to see him, causing Yugi and Jonouchi to relax their suspicions. The brainwashed Bakura showed Yugi that the Millennium Ring was reacting, when Rishid, posing as Marik, arrived with the Millennium Rod.<ref name="d 202" />
