The Paladins of Dragons, known as Knights of Dragons (竜の聖騎士（ナイト・オブ・ドラゴン）, Naito Obu Doragon) in Japan, is a series of Level 4 Ritual Monsters with 1900 ATK. The monsters of this series are, as suggested by the name, warriors who ride dragons (which resemble younger/smaller versions of other iconic Dragons or dragon-like monsters).

"Paladin of the Cursed Dragon", as a Zombie Effect Monster that is simply an undead "Paladin of White Dragon", only partially fits the theme of this series, so it is not included.

Design

Most Paladins of Dragons share some quirks with each other:

• An effect that activates when the Paladin battles, most often removal of an attacked monster at the start of the Damage Step.
• An effect that activates by Tributing themselves, and Special Summons a monster from hand or Main Deck (usually the related Dragon or a range of monsters that includes it) .
• A specific Ritual Spell Cards with the naming scheme "[Adjective] Dragon Ritual" ("[Adjective] Dragon Descent" in Japanese).
