Biography[edit]

The Sacred Cards[edit]

Bakura slept in after staying up late writing TRPG scenarios, but still managed to make it to the Battle City tournament. At the art gallery, he faced the player in a Duel with no Locator Cards at stake. Afterwards, Bakura said that he needed to get more Locator Cards, as he hoped to Duel Yugi Muto.

It is implied that either Bakura or Yami Bakura defeated a generic Duelist outside the card shop. The generic Duelist told the player that she lost to someone, who used an occult Deck.

Bakura qualified for the Battle City finals and met up with the other finalists at the stadium site shortly before the deadline. Yugi was surprised to see him there, having been unaware that Bakura was in the tournament. Bakura replied that he had a late start. He told the player that me managed to win his way up somehow and having made it this far, he was not prepared to lose. The finalists boarded the airship, after Odion, posing as Marik Ishtar, arrived.

The Ultimate Bingo machine matched Bakura and Yugi as the players in the first quarterfinal. Joey said that this would be a must-see Duel, but was worried it might end like before. At the beginning of the Duel, Yami Bakura took control of Bakura's body and announced that he was after Yugi's Millennium Puzzle. However, he was defeated by Yami Yugi. Bakura apologized afterwards for letting the Millennium Ring take control.
