A '''card effect''' is any effect in the game introduced by a specific card, excluding the [[Condition#Conditions that cannot be negated|condition]]s and [[cost]]s of that card. Card effects include the effects of [[Monster Card|MonsterCards]], [[Spell Card|Spell]], and [[Trap Card|Trap]] cards.
The card effect, as well as any costs and conditions (and [[material]]s for most [[Extra Deck]] monsters), are detailed in the [[card text]].
