Lore[edit]

Where is the lore we currently have taken from? Because honestly, the lore in the pic shown in the episode, which currently illustrates the card's article, is 100% illegible if you ask me. There's no way anyone can make out a single word of it. LegendaryAsariUgetsu (talkcontribs) 17:08, October 11, 2016 (UTC)

It helps if you first check the page's history to see who inserted the lore, and possibly the source (if they inserted it in their edit summary). --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 17:13, October 11, 2016 (UTC)
Oh, I see, apparently someone managed to get some ultra HD shots of it. My bad. LegendaryAsariUgetsu (talkcontribs) 01:39, October 12, 2016 (UTC)

Regular or Pendulum Odd-eyes?[edit]

Hello. I noticed that the translation of Astrograph's effect mentions Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (anime), not regular Odd-Eyes Dragon (anime). I find this weird, since 1 - Based on the info we have now on Zarc and his deck, he has regular odd-eyes, not the pendulum version (If he does, we need to add Pendulum Dragon to his deck list). 2 - I do not know about the exact details of the episode, but did Pendulum cards even exist in the original dimension? It could be a translation mistake, or it could be i who's mistaken in something. Thx for reading. Imadmagician (talkcontribs) 10:39, October 12, 2016 (UTC)

Hello. If you check the page history, you'll see that the user who added the lores provided pics from where the lore was gotten from. That user was already inquired about that matter specifically. My guess would be they accidentally wrote "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" on the card Japanese text, but we'll see. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 11:14, October 12, 2016 (UTC)
Yeah. There's also the possibility that "Astrograph Magician" is going to be an OCG card and they simply used the OCG lore, which would obviously mean it would be support for OEPD and OED (and if Zarc plays it in the present, it will likely support OEPD there too). No one really expects fans to do what we do and pause frame-by-frame to read what should be unreadable lore. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 14:09, October 12, 2016 (UTC)

It's Astrograph MAGICIAN, not SORCERER![edit]

There are NO OFFICIAL SOURCES calling it Sorcerer, so you can't call it Sorcerer here. The anime is the only official source for names, and in the anime, it's Astrograph MAGICIAN! So yes, it IS in the magician archetype, you can't take it out for the English one. Plus, Magician is the proper translation. I'm going to say the same thing with the other "Sorcerer" in a minute.Manyfaceblake (talkcontribs) 03:58, December 26, 2016 (UTC)

While this card's Japanese name is Majishan, the other Magician's Japanese names are Majutsushi, which means that they do NOT belong to the same archetype. If you hear the anime again, you will notice the different pronounciation, besides that the Kanji clearly IS different. Also all cards support only Majutsushi monsters so far, so Majishan isn't even an archetype, but just two random cards. That's why they aren't called Magicians, but (temporarily) Sorcerers instead.
