I think some cards in this set are meant to celebrate the upcoming Japanese Lunar New Year .

This year is the Monkey Year , then after 28/1/2017 , it will become the Rooster Year , then 2018 is the Dog Year .

Monkey cards : Zoodiac Hammerkong , Baobaboon .

Rooster/Bird cards : Zoodiac Cluckle , 5 Lyrical Luscinia cards , Mariamune, the True Dracophoenix , , Pendulumucho , Raidraptor - Étranger Falcon .

Dog cards : Zoodiac Lyca .

Even in the artwork of Zoodiac Xiangke , the Monkey , the Rooster and the Dog are talking to each other .
