Destroyed by an effect v battle[edit]
so if he destroys a face down monster by attacking it and destroying it with his effect do you get to summon lv4?because the card says you can summon lv 4 after destroying a monster in battle but even though he attacked the monster is still technically destroyed by an effect and not battle so whats the deal someone mind clarifying this for me —This unsigned comment was made by 76.109.84.96 (talk • contribs) 20:10, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
- You are right; in that case it is being destroyed by an effect, not battle, so LV4 wouldn't be Special Summoned. -- Deltaneos (talk) 20:16, November 12, 2009 (UTC)
- Destroy by effect, he would not triggering into level 4, and destroy by battle (face-up monster) would do the job. His effect always activate whenever he hit the face-down defense monster, no matter how much of effort you throw in. FredCat100 20:24, November 12, 2009 (UTC)
