About the level[edit]

Can the Negative Level monsters be affected by Gravity Bind or things like that? Does Junk Warrior gets the ATK of that monster?Diehard Guy 12:12, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

Nice question! I never thought about that until you point it out. -- J0V1 P4RD0MU4N S14G14N the Keyblade Master 12:54, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

Supposedly any increase of points based on a level that targets a negative leveled monster is converted to a decrease (and vice-versa). Also I deduce that if no amount of downgrading can give other monsters a level of 0 or a negative number, then perhaps no amount of upgrading can give Dark-synchro monsters a level of 0 or a positive number.--Dragonking 03:01, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

Rulings questions about Negative Levels come up a lot. Answer is there are no official rules for Negative Levels at the moment, so your questions cannot be answered. (See Forum:Dark Synchros) -- Deltaneos (talk) 12:27, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

Then perhaps we can theorize for amusement until this new archetype is officially added to the OCG.--Dragonking 12:38, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Okay then! Wild speculation away! Would One-Hundred Eyes Dragon, an Amulet of Ambition and a Lava Golem be an OTK? Would monsters with negative levels reduce The Calculator's ATK? Would they get a boost from an opponent's Burden of the Mighty? Would they reduce the level (and hence ATK) an opponent's Greed Quasar? How would negative levels interact with a ritual summon? --Anon 10:31, 28 February 2009

New Level Concept[edit]

In episode 48, they showed one of Demaks effect monsters level turning negative due to a card effect. Does this mean Negative Levels are no longer exclusive to Dark Synchro Monsters now? --Sky Scourge God 04:18, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

  • No it just shows that specific card effect can inverse a card's level, nothing more.
