Missing in the list[edit]

This page isn't listed in the number members box.--Computer Bug (talkcontribs) 15:20, July 23, 2012 (UTC)

It's because it don't have correct number and is about to removed from this site. We have to wait till it showed a specify number before post it. --iFredCat 15:23, July 23, 2012 (UTC)

Heart eartH?[edit]

We recently found out that Unknow Faker's number has Heart eartH on its name. Should we rename this one too or wait till more info? --Falling Stars and Laggia Will rebirth(Talk) 14:13, August 6, 2012 (UTC)

Looks Like a Six?[edit]

On The Left Side of The Number it Looks Like Number 6 it Looks Blurrie Like Number 63? Look Closer And See For Your Selfs?

Nop, look at the Numbers chart on the Numbers page. It's definitely a "5", not a "6". On a side note, don't forget to sign your post with four tildes. HPZ - O.N.E. (talkcontribs) 08:47, August 22, 2012 (UTC)

Fake Corpse[edit]

I posted this on Number 92's page, but got no response. Wouldn't it be better to call it Fake-Corpse God, instead of False Skeletal? As far as I can see, it has noting to do with bones, and it destroying Equip Cards to protect itself is similar to faking its corpse. MadRest 23:49, August 27, 2012 (UTC)

It is all in translation. There are a lot of names that should be, but aren't. Energy X 23:55, August 27, 2012 (UTC)

Actually, the gai part can mean body, corpse, or bone. However, Skeletal itself is way-off. Gaikotsu means skeleton, but gai itself only means bone. Not to mention, that using False and Skeletal together implies that both the adjectives apply to God, not Skeletal. MadRest 23:57, August 27, 2012 (UTC)
Again, it is come to a vote. Energy X 23:58, August 27, 2012 (UTC)
So, no one is going to object to a name change? MadRest 13:42, September 3, 2012 (UTC)
You'd need more people to see the discussion. 1 man shouldn't (often) make his own decisions. Energy X 13:48, September 3, 2012 (UTC)
Considering its used by Dr. Faker, "Fake" seems like it was probably the intended translation (its attack is even called "Fake Burn"). Master D, I recall you saying that there's no indication the monsters resemble skeletons - fine. But there's also no indication the monsters or bodies or corpses or anything like that either. Wouldn't "Fake Body" or "Fake Dummy" work. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 15:40, September 3, 2012 (UTC)
I moved Number 92 to Fake-Body before, but HHT said that gai is used to refer to the remains of a body, and using body would confuse with a living body. Its effect is actually similar to using a fake corpse, as it sacrifices its equipped monsters. I don't know how you got Dummy. Gai translates to the remains of something, a shell, a husk. It can be also used to refer to human remains, i.e. a corpse. Anyhow, the way the card is worded now is deceiving. If you put two adjectives together, it is implied they both apply to the noun. Gi only applies to the gai part. It doesn't apply to the God part. MadRest 15:48, September 3, 2012 (UTC)
I've seen it compared to a Gigai from Bleach - a dummy body, basically. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 15:58, September 3, 2012 (UTC)
I thought so too, and I checked it, but the kanji is different. MadRest 16:12, September 3, 2012 (UTC)
Given the precedent set for villain ace cards, Number 92 could easily have alternate forms. Next week's episode should be the last time its used. I suggest we wait until then. As of now, there's not much indication that the monster is dead, so corpse just seems wrong. Can "gai" not simply refer to a body in general? I get the feeling the whole thing is really just a reference to Faker's name. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 12:32, September 5, 2012 (UTC)
Well, I don't mind body, but gai is used for the remains of something. And the monster itself isn't a corpse. It just utilizes corpses (the monsters in the Graveyard) to protect itself, i.e. a fake corpse. MadRest 14:14, September 6, 2012 (UTC)
Here's my wacky suggestion - Number 53: Exoskeletal God - Heart-EartH. Doesn't conjure the image of something that's currently living, but also doesn't steer towards something corpse-like. Number 93 could, as parallel, be Exoskeletal God Dragon. AEtherchild (Talk|Contribs) 01:23, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
I would pushing it further to "Exoskeletal Lord - Heart-eartH" instead, like with "Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World", which was once translated as "Grapha, Dragon God of Dark World". Plus, Earth must have a lower E's and captain H's. --iFredCat 01:32, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
Good point, 神 does often come out as "Lord" instead of "God". Didn't check that. AEtherchild (Talk|Contribs) 01:35, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
Doesn't matter. We shouldn't speculate what they'll replace "God" with. It makes us look bad when we guess wrong. That said, what "shin" should be translated to in pretty much any case is up for debate. As for "Exoskeleton", I like it. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 02:20, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
An exoskeleton is an external skeleton. We're not looking for suggestions on what the TCG name will be; we're looking for a suitable translation of the OCG name. Gigai, as I said, is Fake Corpse. Gi means 'fake', not external, so exoskeleton is impossible. The only part now we're unsure of is 'gai', which can be translated as bone, body, corpse, shell or husk. So if you want to offer a suggestion, please offer one of those! MadRest 11:43, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
So, what will it be; Fake-Corpse or Fake-Body? MadRest 19:31, September 16, 2012 (UTC)
Why are you guys discussed about its card name? In OCG, its card name is known as "Number53: False Skeletal God, Heart-eartH". So just wait until we know its TCG name. ---TheGallisMan (talkcontribs) 19:55, September 16, 2012 (UTC)
We are talking about the OCG name. The current name is wrong. So we are talking about which is better; Number 53: Fake-Corpse God, Heart-eartH or Number 53: Fake-Body God, Heart-eartH. MadRest 21:54, September 16, 2012 (UTC)
There's no real indication the monster is dead, so I think "Body" works much better. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 00:05, September 17, 2012 (UTC)
It doesn't mean the monster itself is dead. It utilizes fake corpses, i.e. its Equip Cards. If a corpse is fake, that means it's still alive. But I don't mind either way. MadRest 16:00, September 17, 2012 (UTC)
Can you move this card and 92, 'cause 92 is locked? MadRest 18:34, September 19, 2012 (UTC)
