i use a monster that have piercing damage and attack a defend position monster , does it considered to be effect activated and can it be negate and destroy by using divine wrath ?

The effects of monsters to inflict piercing damage are continuous effects. They do not activate, they are continuously applied. Therefore, Divine Wrath can't be activated in response.--Hide Head Turtle 13:29, May 3, 2010 (UTC)

Term of nowadays

Well the term changed, you can see in one of the recent reprints of Airknight Parshath it says: If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent.

But the Piercing page says: During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent. This lore has now changed to If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent.

So can we change the term to become more official? --E.G.G. (My Contributions) 10:34, October 15, 2012 (UTC)
