Opponent's Disapprove[edit]

-Regrading asking to see your opponents graveyard, If you ask and they say "No" are you not allowed to see them? —This unsigned comment was made by 173.2.217.162 (talkcontribs) 01:33, September 4, 2011

Get it right this time! --FredCat 01:47, September 4, 2011 (UTC)
They're not allowed to refuse. It's just more polite to alert them before picking up their cards. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 01:51, September 4, 2011 (UTC)
So if your opponent continued to refuse the witness, what will they get? Red card warning or DQ? --FredCat 01:59, September 4, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, get the judge there to penalize them. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 02:08, September 4, 2011 (UTC)

Public knowledge - does not have to be face-up[edit]

-The official tournament document just states, "Information printed on a specific, named card." There is no additional clause stating "that both duelists can look at". So according to the tournament documents, you can ask about a card, even if it is not face-up on the field. However, the guidelines also state that players cannot use rules and policies in attempts to gain unfair advantages. If it is determined that this is the case, then penalties could be applied. I was wondering if this rationale should be updated into the wikia text. Thoughts? —This unsigned comment was made by Luxniom (talkcontribs) 06:29, April 24, 2014 (UTC)

You can ask about a specific, named card. You cannot ask about a face-down card. You also cannot use the first to circumvent the second. Usually, you'd be asking a judge about the specific named card anyways, not your opponent, and most judges would probably tell you off for wasting their time after asking about so many randomly-chosen cards. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 08:51, April 24, 2014 (UTC)
