The Xyz[edit]
Looks like the xyz on the cover is Kagemusha of the Blue Flame, wearing a cross The Great Shogun Shein's armor, minus the red flame symbol on it, and the synchro The Legendary six samuri - Shi En's coat. I'm guessing it will be either a rank 2 or rank 5 if done right. however, they'll probably screw up, make it a rather broken rank 3 and let the aestheticism builds run wild. either way i'm looking forward to it and i hope that it doesn't specifically require six sam's to make but just warriors in general or like the m-x-saber just earth monsters.
- Rank 2 or 5? No way. I don't think they'll make a card whose archetype has so much trouble getting it out. It'll be Rank 3, since most Six Sam cards gain levels as they "grow older" ( Kizan lvl 4-> Grandmaster lvl 5, Shi En lvl 5 -> Shien Lvl 7, Leg Six Sam Enishi Lvl 4 -> Chancellor Enishi lvl 6) AFAIK only Mizuho and Kageki stayed the same Lvl, but Mizuho probably stopped fighting after Shinai's death and Kageki seems to have been seriously wounded, too.

- Has any one seen the Six Samurai page? Can anyone confirm this new Xyz monster's name and effect? I think if no one knows it should be taken down.
shinai xyz?[edit]
Does anybody find it weird that this xyz is holding the same medallion as shinai and mizohu. i mean shinai maybe dead,but he couldve come bak to life because in shi ens pics he has black hair and no sign of him having the necklce as well. Besides, being that his spirit is still alive he might infact take control over someone else. this is jst my theory on this because shinai is a mystery character throuht the whole story, but lets c what this xyz monster is called.
i want to see proof about Six Samurai Xyz monster.
Six Samurai unappreciated[edit]
I am a 6 Sam duelist, & this structure deck is cool and all but... Im kinda upset @ the same time. now any1 can have a 6 Sam deck. Ive spent my whole high school career playing the deck, building the deck, & collecting all the 6 Sam cards. Ive learned 2 appreciate the backstory behind the cards, but now ppl will just use them 2 have a powerful deck...
- Theres nothing unappreciative about giving them their own XYZ and SD. You want unappreciative? Black Wings. They took hits in two banlists in a row and Konami has released three very lackluster cards for them, almost in mock. I'm a Six Sam player since they came out and I love the fact that they are getting such useful reprints and that many people can now enjoy the deck without spending so damn much. --MayhemMessiah (talk • contribs) 03:31, April 29, 2012 (UTC)
- I never meant that the XYZ was an unappreciative act. I just wanted 2 make the point of the effort that 1 needed 2 make in order 2 get 6 Sam cards :P
Two of the cards are far from lackluster. The Level 3 one that can't be destroyed by battle once per turn is amazing. It lets them make Level 5 Synchro Monsters way more effectively and Xyz for 3. The Level 5 Synchro Monster is great as well - now you can use Shura to get Vayu, make a Catastor/Librarian/whatever then use Vayu to Banish Shura - making Vayu a much more consistently useful card. - The lvl 3 one is just a poor man's spirit reaper. Sure, its a special summon, but BWs are an aggressive deck, they only go for defense when they are in trouble. And I honestly think vayu is a waste on that guy, I'd much rather go for a revived armor master or something, but he may be the only new card worth using. --MayhemMessiah (talk • contribs) 20:19, April 29, 2012 (UTC)
- Incorrect. It's a good card in its own right. And no, Vayu isn't its own waste. Actually Test the Deck out (a good build) before you speak. I've been using a deck without the Rank 5 Synch (as no effect has been announced as far as I know) and it's pretty even with Evols. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 22:31, April 29, 2012 (UTC)
- No effect, you say? Once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Blackwing" monster from your hand. He's a 2200 "beatstick". You'd rather waste a Vayu in getting this guy out for what, exactly? He is useful when you have, I dunno, two Shuras in your hand or an extra Breeze, otherwise, there isn't much that you would want to summon. A passable tech to get Blackrose if you have Blizzard on the field, I guess. And I still haven't heard why Gladius isn't a waste of space (keep in mind you can't have any XYZ or non-Bw synchro out if you want him to SS himself)

If I may say something comrades; you've lost the main point of this conversation. Guys, it's great that Konami makes reprints of these cards because not all the people can afford to get them (particularly novices and children). Also I'm a 6 Samurai duelist but I don't get mad, because today the mayority of duelists are so competitive so these reprints offer the opportunity to novices to start with an EXCELLENT DECK. Besides, everyone prefers to have a "shiny" deck if you know what I mean, so doesn't matter if everybody has the same cards (you can have them in a better rarity). - I never got mad! I just felt a bit distraught, like imagine sum1 who bought pot of duality back when it was over $80 (what surprised me the most was when dark end dragon was made more available...). Now anyone can have it, & u spent all your time & money 4 nothing >.<
- I know, it`s frustrating xD but think about this: reprints provide the opportunity to other duelists to play with this deck. In my opinion, Konami has created the way to prevent the game becoming elitist and excessively expensive. Yes, you spent time and A LOT of money to get your cards, but that makes them even more valuable to you. I think that's something. Anyway, I prefer to get my cards at any rarity 'cause, after all, they do the same thing (Ultra Rare, Super Rare, Common, etc. / "The bright is just pure vanity, but just sometimes you can afford the luxury of having it"

Lock Off[edit]
Protect on this article is no longer required - I just purchased two set of this deck at Wal-Mart today. It does have "Dark Hole" and "Fiendish Chain" along with "Legendary Six Samurai - Kageki" and "Shien's Smoke Signal" as Super Rare. --iFredCat 20:50, June 25, 2012 (UTC)
