If the card does not say shuffle your deck then do you still do this? Example:Elegant EgotistWonderboi 06:46, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

  • Anytime you search your deck you must shuffle after. Danny Lilithborne 06:48, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

If you shuffle your deck and your opponent wants to cut it,do you have to let him do that?

yes

What if the card says to place a card in your deck to the top? wouldn't you technically still have to shuffle? If thats the case though, then the cards effect is redundant. —This unsigned comment was made by 130.156.129.254 (talkcontribs)

You take the card out. Shuffle your deck. Then put that card on the top of your deck. Falzar FZ 08:09, April 6, 2010 (UTC)

"Return to the Deck"[edit]

Does the effect "Return "Card X" to the Deck" mean that you should place it at random in the deck and shuffle it? Or just place it on top? ShermTank7272 (talkcontribs) 06:35, November 22, 2012 (UTC)

Unless it says specifically otherwise, it is placed at random into the Deck, then shuffled. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 06:43, November 22, 2012 (UTC)

Methods?[edit]

I don't know about any of you guys, but I've always found riffle shuffling far too damaging for use on Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, even with card sleeves, they will bend quickly. The Wikipedia page says something similar, that CCG cards are too delicate and expensive to use it with. I always and only use a simple overhand shuffle with my cards. Unless you all feel differently, shouldn't that be removed to stop someone from damaging their cards? Kermit Chaos (talkcontribs) 21:31, June 21, 2014 (UTC)
