Using XYZ Monsters[edit]

Whoa wait, since when can you use XYZ monsters to Synchro summon? I looked it up and I see hundreds of people saying no you can't, though the posts were a year old. And I didn't see a source for that little detail on the page. Did konami say that xyz monsters are basically level 0 in synchro summons during these past few months or something? If you meant by this line: Though if the requirements were strictly amount of monsters or a specific attribute/type is needed an Xyz can be used. Then that must be a mistake from some Bots - it may normally spelled as "Exceed" before became "Xyz". --iFredCat 17:48, February 21, 2013 (UTC)
The whole "you can use Xyz monsters as Synchro Materials" is what I'm talking about. When was that possible? I thought Xyz monsters couldn't even be selected to have their levels modified; their level isn't simply "zero", it completely does not exist, right? So I thought that they couldn't even be used for Synchro Summons. This basically means that I can summon formula Synchron with a level 2 tuner and an Xyz monster, and synchro summon Stardust Dragon with a Life Stream Dragon and an Xyz Monster, and also summon a level 1 Synchro. Again, are we absolutely sure that we can use Xyz Monsters as Synchro Materials? Because this fact will absolutely be exploited by a lot of players who figure this out. Ah, must be in this line: That is to say that Xyz monsters, trap monsters, and token monsters that have been used for synchro summoning must also meet the criteria of level/attribute/type, -
I will go ahead and fixing that into "Ritual monsters" as well. Xyz are only Rank, and never be Level. Thank you for helping the conflict to solved. --iFredCat 18:51, February 21, 2013 (UTC)
