RE:Card name template

Sorry, I'm trying to go through all the WGRT cards (you don't need to help me), so it makes it more painstaking (and unlikely to complete) if I try to improve every single thing I see wrong along the way, making side-tracking an issue. I've been side-tracked many times beforehand with similar projects. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 23:54, March 1, 2016 (UTC)

replace?

why did you uploade the same images i added to those pages did you replace my ? (The Twinke Star in the Skies 11:53, March 3, 2016 (UTC))

Well, I believe ".png" is preferable. The Yu-Gi-Oh!:Image policy actually accepts both. But I think it's more organized to have only one extension (if possible), and since scanned card images should be in ".png", to keep the criteria, I re-uploaded yours as such, since they were recent and being used in recent articles, which already contained other pics in ".png", and 1 (that I didn't notice at the time) or none in ".jpg". So I would ask you to please upload them in ".png" next time. And try to use the {{Fair use}}.
But if you disagree, feel free to report it, or start a discussion on it on the right place. I kinda assumed ".png" are preferable on TV screenshots. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 18:56, March 3, 2016 (UTC)
One more thing: it would be pretty useful if you could provide a link to either your user and/or talk page in your sig. Quoting from Help:Signature: "It should contain an automatic link to your user page, making it easy for others to learn more about you and communicate with you.". Thanks. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 19:04, March 3, 2016 (UTC)
im pretty sure that one with Celina gets capture by Barett was am HD PNG —This unsigned comment was made by Lol-ionel! (talkcontribs) 20:21, March 3, 2016
Please try to indent your text, and don't forget to sign it.
I'm not sure of what you mean, but if you're saying your pic was already in ".png", I can prove you it wasn't. See here and here; I changed the ".jpg" into ".png", meaning it was previously in ".jpg". Besides, we can just check your logs to see it was in ".jpg". there you go again

there you go again replacing my images now lulu's page really im pretty cure it was a PNG whats wrong with you the quilt y is Ok (The Twinke Star in the Skies 02:00, March 4, 2016 (UTC))

No need for that language, Loli. It wasn't a png, at the very least it was labelled as a jpg. Sanokal K-T (talkcontribs) 02:13, March 4, 2016 (UTC)

RE:Pic source

This seller seems to be the best (but you should shrink their pictures to be 800 pixels wide... it's just an arbitrary number, so don't go telling other users to do the same thing for card images in general), followed by this seller. That's in terms of foils. In terms of Commons, this seller is best. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 17:30, March 6, 2016 (UTC)

Set number redirects

Thanks for create these redirects. As you do them, would you be able to update the card pages to list the corresponding sets too?

It's handy when looking at set lists, that we can use the number column as a checklist to see which cards have and haven't been updated. -- Deltaneos (talk) 22:58, March 6, 2016 (UTC)

You're welcome! Hum, I'm not sure if I understand what you mean (sorry). Could you give me an example, please? Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 23:04, March 6, 2016 (UTC)
Okay. For this linked set number, the redirect was created and the card page was updated. -- Deltaneos (talk) 22:09, March 7, 2016 (UTC)
Ah. So I guess I missed some? Because I was actually updating the galleries based on the entries of the card pages, and then redirecting the red links that should be redirected. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 22:15, March 7, 2016 (UTC)

Re: RP02-EN Book of Moon

It is. Retro Pack 2 was released worldwide, not just in Europe. I made this error before a few years back and another user (either Cheesedude or UltimateKuriboh) told me it wasn't just EU release.Cardsknower (talkcontribs) 01:00, March 7, 2016 (UTC)

RE:Korean Jet Synchron

I didn't upload the original image; someone else did. I've corrected it though. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 01:57, March 7, 2016 (UTC)

RE: Talk header

Hi there, dear friend, I'm aware of that. As a matter of fact, I too used to put a space between the two words when adding the template to talk pages. However, various users kept removing that space, so I had to accept the cruel truth that the space is nothing more than a burden. --Goblin King - 3000 B.C., Keeper of Evil Squirrels 01:16, March 8, 2016 (UTC)

RE:Card Acronyms

That's something I've thought occasionally about. However, I don't want that to encourage users to start making up abbreviations of their own; I only add abbreviations that tend to show up frequently across YGO communities. I'm unsure if such a thing is worthy of a main page space... a forum namespace might be better. More feasibly, I was thinking of a list of archetypes whose names have been abbreviated. I haven't taken the time to review all the archetypes, but there are some that are long enough to deserve abbreviating. Some examples that I've already done are MPB, BroFist, and SHS (which are used like MPB Token, BroFist Horse Prince, and SHS Battleball). --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 22:43, March 8, 2016 (UTC)

I'm starting to feel uneasy about this now. It reminds me when we allowed users to post "staples," and there was bickering over the finer lines of what could be defined as a staple in the current format at the time. Generic terms like "Buster Fusion" are only going to encourage numerous instances of bland "name-shortening" for other irrelevant cards.
Just keep it to archetype names for now, and keep it restricted to archetypes that seem to be mentioned often enough (and relevant enough) to have people create abbreviations for them. Don't start creating redirects for each their members either; stuff like "Blackwing"s can be very difficult in determining which abbreviated name is used. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 19:24, March 9, 2016 (UTC)
Both abbreviations may be appropriate to use. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 20:34, March 9, 2016 (UTC)

RE: Lists & Galleries display

"Pendulum Monsters with no effect are still Normal Monsters" Exactly why they should be noted as Normal Pendulum Monsters. Unsure on the second point, though I like noting the language and edition. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 15:45, March 14, 2016 (UTC)

RE:PGL3 List

They're not the original source, some German store is. There have been minor mistakes in their spoilers in the past, so it's best not to rely on them.
There are plenty of other sites that can list these supposed set lists, but at least the Wiki lists only the ones that have been definitively confirmed. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 01:28, March 15, 2016 (UTC)

RE:Infernity Beetle

Actually, yes, I just added Tuner and then saved the edit, I swear! I have literally no idea about how that happened. --XBrain130™エックスブレーン130」 16:01, March 23, 2016 (UTC)

RE:M7 pic

That was an exception, and not the norm. Don't worry about it. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 03:33, March 24, 2016 (UTC)

Do whatever you want, other than reverting the image. Feel free to continue asking questions on other matters. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 01:10, March 25, 2016 (UTC)

RE:Korean Editions

There is no clear-cut guide. This is just my conclusion after reviewing several "special" Korean products for 1st and Unlimited Editions. Core booster packs are guaranteed to have 1st and Unlimited Editions. Anything other than a "core booster pack" (REDU, LOB, etc.) appears to only have 1 Edition. In those cases, I just type in a Korean Set ID and see what card images I can find, and check the Edition they have noted on them. Very rarely (possibly never) do I manage to confirm 2 Editions for a "special" product.
In the future, you don't need to say "thanks" or whatever in response to my replies; it's unnecessary. Just leave messages on my talk page if you have something new to talk about. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 03:17, March 29, 2016 (UTC)

RE:Shorten "prev" & "next" parameters

I don't see any pressing reason to do so, since the product names aren't excessively long. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 22:53, March 29, 2016 (UTC)

<RE: Portuguese lores>

Thank you for talking about the Portuguese Lores with me! Indeed, so long ago that I did not do this type of editing, so was finding it strange, I thought something was wrong with my PC. Ok, I will follow all orders (alias, I'm following). Thanks again!
