Guess who. Could you please protect the article under the name Deep Sea Diva from being edited by IPs? A plain visit at its history page will show you that the Greek name has been vandalised countless times, always being replaced by insults. Magic vs spell card images?

Are we worried about getting both the Magic and the Spell versions of any cards where it's distinguishable? Looking at Set Card Galleries:Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon (TCG-NA-1E), it seems to have only Magic versions (though I haven't looked through the non-Magic/Spell card effects to see if any of them mention Magic/Spell cards), while the only Magic/Spell card currently uploaded for Set Card Galleries:Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon (TCG-NA-UE) is the Spell version. If we do want both versions, how should we distinguish them in the image names? Alternate artwork? (And has any similar change occurred in any other region versions of the TCG, or in the OCG?) ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 17:51, January 3, 2011 (UTC)

I used to think that there weren't any cards with the same set number and edition that were printed with both "Magic" and "Spell" versions. But I have seen this once before. I just added a -2 to the end of the Spell version:
I never looked into it since. There is a "Magic" version of that "Polymerization" image. Give the "Magic" ones the original filenames, I guess and add something like -2 or -Spell to the "Spell" ones and keep it consistent. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:42, January 3, 2011 (UTC)
Okay, I'll go with adding "-Spell" (now to add this bit to {{TCG-OCG card image}}...). As far as what cards are like that, literally every card originally released with a mention of "Magic Cards" (be it actual Magic cards, or Monster/Trap card effects that mention them) was re-released as a Spell version, from what I've seen (at least, as far as Booster Sets are concerned) - I'm the type of person that actually focuses on this stuff in my collecting. Anti-Archetypes

hat do you think about adding a section on to the archetype pages about cards or strategies that work against/ are typically used against the particular archetype? I think that it could help people to build their decks to better handle the typical opposition that they could face, and help others make their side decks able to handle different archetypes without having to hunt for cards that specifically stop a certain deck type. What do you think? Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 19:29, January 3, 2011 (UTC)

RE:Tetsuya Yanagihara

No, his character doesn't appear in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. It's my mistake, I thought that the debut and appearance listed his voice work, so that why I added Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. Blackwings0605 (talk) 11:18, January 4, 2011 (UTC)

Last Arc

Hi writing to ask if it should be ok to put the remining episodes on an Arc. If so should it be called ¨Ark Cardle Arc¨¨ or otherwise. DracoX (talkcontribs) 05:22, January 6, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah thats gonna be a debate on what episde to start. Because offically the WRGP itself ends with 137 and the Ark Cradle appearing begins there too. Thoguh im thinking that we could always leave 137 as the last episode of the WRGP Arc and put it also as the begining for Ark Cradle as well if it doesnt bring some confusion though. Duel Academy and Spirit Caller

Any particular reason that the character infobox does not parameters for these two games? Not sure if the former had deck names, but the latter seems to, based on additions to several deck articles. Haven't played either myself. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 02:10, January 10, 2011 (UTC)

Alright then. I'll add any listed in the decklists to the infoboxes later then. Thanks. On a related note, it seems like that Tag Force 3 doesn't have deck names, based o the FAQs. That, or the guy who wrote the FAQ simply didn't add them. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 17:48, January 10, 2011 (UTC)
Sorry for the constant messages. When I attempted to add the deck names to Zane Truesdale, each of them showed up as a redlink, despite not being wikilinked in the box itself. Which reminded be that I saw a similar problem at Ojama Yellow's page. I assume it has something to do with the infobox code, in the same vein that you don't need to link certain thing in it manually. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 18:09, January 10, 2011 (UTC)
Ok, thanks. At least I'll know what to do if I encounter that problem again. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 19:04, January 10, 2011 (UTC)

A confession

I'm sorry, I need to confess to doing something un-adminlike. I moved some pages whose dub names were absurdly bad translations to more proper, unofficial translations, and even said I heard the better translation when I was pretty sure I didn't, then just forgot about them. I have since moved them all back to the correct (bad) translations. I'm so sorry, I was just disgusted with the translation, but I lied to the wiki, and there's no excuse for that. Please accept this apology from a friend. Flame Deity (talkcontribs) 04:45, January 11, 2011 (UTC)

The wonders of SMW character replacement

This was an amazingly, ridiculously, stupidly hard fix to track down - I couldn't find anything about the issue in SMW's documentation. I only finally figured out exactly why the code {{ #ifeq: Koa'ki Meiru Maximus | {{ #show: Koa'ki Meiru Maximus | ?Page Name }} | ... }} didn't evaluate like it should until I sat down and played with #pos, and realized there was a nice '-sized hole in between #pos: a and #pos: k (and then I had more fun realizing that instead of being consistent and using ", SMW replaces double-quotes with "). =P

Now that I'm done with my mini-rant/complaint, I don't suppose you can point out any other characters SMW "helpfully" sanitizes, can you? ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 04:55, January 12, 2011 (UTC)

I think the problem is with MediaWiki, not SMW. {{subst:PAGENAME}} also replaces ' and " with ' and " here and on wikis outside Wikia.
The only other character that gets handled like this that I can find right now is & (&).
Also... why are you using {{ #show: {{{pagename}}} | ?Page Name }} instead of simply {{{pagename}}}? -- Deltaneos (talk) 13:21, January 12, 2011 (UTC)
Because {{{pagename}}} is generated from {{{name}}} (specifically, by stripping characters which aren't allowed in MediaWiki page names), which, since it's manually specified, may be incorrect (though errors there will more often result in the template saying the stated page doesn't exist). This has the added benefit of letting us catch pagemoves - since you can #show with a redirect's title and get the properties of the page that redirect points to, this can automatically check if the given name is the actual name of the card article or just of a redirect pointing to that article. It won't work when SMW is disabled (though I'm also not sure just how it'll look), but the File: namespace is probably not viewed nearly as often as the main namespace, so I'm not terribly worried about it yet. ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 17:00, January 12, 2011 (UTC)
I think you can use #show to get values from the redirects target. e.g. {{ #show: BEWD |?Level}} gives 8. I don't think the page name property is needed, since its the default value #show will give, albeit with a link. e.g. {{ #show: BEWD }} gives Blue-Eyes White Dragon. -- Deltaneos (talk) 17:12, January 12, 2011 (UTC)
So it does... I hadn't thought of trying that. The auto-linking is annoying, and I can't find any way of preventing it from within the query (I tried all the suggestions I could find, but none of them worked for #show - the text was either still linked, or simply didn't display), but it should be easy enough to strip via a couple of #replaces (and *that* should be easy enough to replace if either I figure out how to get unlinked output, or someone shows me). ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 17:46, January 12, 2011 (UTC)
I see why it uses the name for the double quote and the number for the single quote/apostrophe now. By default it uses the names for such characters, but ' does not work on Internet Explorer, so ' has to be used for that particular character, while the others use the names. -- Deltaneos (talk) 16:49, January 18, 2011 (UTC)
Right, I should've known that (considering I was looking at a chart of HTML entities when I was working on this, and that was one of the notes accompanying the chart). =P Still, it would make more sense, to me at least, to use numerical references for all three replacements... =/ ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 17:25, January 18, 2011 (UTC)

Life Stream Dragon

Hey Deltaneos, It’s Elemental Hero Kid Neos, I was looking at that image of Life Stream Dragon, and by the looks of the first 5 Japanese characters after the +, they’re the same has Power Tool Dragon’s name in Japanese. So I was going to add it to the requirements but the edit say do not change or you will be band. So I’m wondering if it’s ok to add it in or if I should let you handle it. —This unsigned comment was made by Elemental Hero Kid Neos (talkcontribs) 11:53, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

I don't really like those block warnings. That warning was put there before the current image was used. In the previous image, neither the DEF nor the lore were visible. You certainly won't get banned for changing it, unless you repeatedly do it ignoring a discussion. It's probably better if you leave a message on the talk page suggesting the change and see what other people think. -- Deltaneos (talk) 12:54, January 12, 2011 (UTC)

Re:Light Boy

My first guess would be Yubel when under the form of Rick/Pierce. If not that, then perhaps Kyle or Nero. They both appeared in Dark World and weren't part of the Dark World monsters. All three of these options really sounds like a stretch to me, but I can't think of any other characters that would make sense. If the character isn't form Season 3, then it could be a random Society of Light extra. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 01:06, January 13, 2011 (UTC)

Life Stream Dragon text

OK no problem about Demons. Now we have some problems with Life Stream Dragon, as someone like tried to read the blurred text on the card and posted on Janime forum the possible third effect of Life Stream. The problem is that some people came here to put both the edited image of the card with the "full" text and the unknown third effect. Would we take that third effect as speculation or unsourced since it wasn't officially given by the anime? Japanese lores + translated

Hi Deltaneos! I was thinking to add to all OCG cards their Japanese lore and the exact translation of the Japanese lore. Some cards have only the Japanese lore, some have nothing and a few have both. Should we add to ALL cards those 2 extra lores?

I'm saying that because some TCG Rulings are based on the OCG lore (rather than their mistranslated TCG text) and sometimes they conflict with their TCG lore making a lot of people wondering why this ("BKSS") ruling exist since the (TCG) text supports otherwise.

What do you say? ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 13:14, January 18, 2011 (UTC)

Are you suggesting that we list the OCG Japanese lore, an English translation of the OCG Japanese lore, as well as the TCG English lore?
Well, yea! That's what I was thinking! (As hidden texts).
Do you want to list this on pages where the TCG lore is an exact translation of the OCG lore too?
Hmmm.... sounds kinda crazy. Maybe we can skip those! We could add the translated text only to those who have pretty much different wording from the TCG, like Stardust Dragon, Zombie Master, ect.
Did you say some pages are already displaying the translated Japanese lore? If so, could I see an example?
Well, I can't find one right now! Maybe I'm wrong and I just thought I saw some! Maybe I confused them with the Japanese translated Names. Nevermind this!
ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 22:38, January 18, 2011 (UTC)
So, should I add some translated texts then? The Japanese text should be on all cards right? ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 22:42, January 19, 2011 (UTC)
Ok, thanks a lot Deltaneos! I'll add the Japanese lores to all cards. I'll try to add some translations as well and see how they will look. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 22:55, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

More Life Stream Dragon stuff

If you compare the text on Life Stream Dragon with the text on any OCG/anime card (I personally like BRD's anime image because they're the exact same size), you'll notice that the ] on LSD, clearly visible after the white streak, is roughly an inch further out than the ] on BRD, despite the fact that the text reading "Dragon / Synchro" (Or, as much of Synchro as can be read up to the streak) are in the exact same spot. Would this count as proof that LSD's more than just Dragon/Synchro/Effect? --Blackstone Dresden (talkcontribs) 23:49, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

Dark Magic Twin Burst

Go watch this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aeuZpETqPK8

This was a trailer subbed by Konami/4Kids, so they used dub names for cards. (Ex: Roadrunner as Sonic Chick even though you can hear them saying Roadrunner in the video.) When Yugi played Black Twin Burst, it was called Dark Magic Twin Burst, so you can see that Konami used a dubbed name, since they don't like using Black in the name.

I notice that most (if not all) of the manga infobox images are the first page of the chapter the article is about. Can other pictures still be used? I wanted to upload a pic of Trag's planet cross from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Chapter 061, but it's a full page scan. If I were to do it, could I use it as the infobox image. Otherwise, I could crop it a bit and use it as a regular pic. It may also be a good image for the infobox of "Legendary Planets". Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 03:07, January 21, 2011 (UTC)

Wikia Anime on Twitter

Hello, I'm Kate from the Wikia Content team. We are trying to create a WikiaAnime Twitter group, where all of the amazing wikis can come together and share their most exciting information, and hopefully get a lot of new users! To join, all you need to do is post this Twitter button and tweet list on your main page.

<twitteruser username=WikiaAnime limit=3 />

Then you can visit the Anime Twitter Suggestions Page and post tweets you'd like to see, with links back to your wiki.

Please share this with your other members and admins and see if it's something they'd be interested in joining! Let me know if you have any questions, and we hope to see you there!

Skull Servant Vandalism

Could you put a lock on the Skull Servants page to stop IP's from editing it for a while? Someone listed with an IP address keeps trying to add in a section that includes what I can only tell is their own deck type, that isn't needed or improving the article. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 03:14, January 25, 2011 (UTC)

Also, is there any way for me to lock my own user page from being edited by IP's? It's been getting blanked from time to time by vandals, and it would be nice not to have to deal with that issue...Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 03:19, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
Sorry to keep bothering you, but 24.168.97.145 has blanked my user page and the Skull Servant page at least 3 times in a row... Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 03:22, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
I just wanted to let you know that the issue was resolved. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) —Preceding undated comment added 20:51, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

Cardtable styles, redux

Since I haven't been able to figure out any potential fixes for the box model problem with IE7 Document Mode (and, presumably, thus IE7 and IE6), I'm going to go ahead and just deploy the cardtable styles in the next couple of days or so, so we can move on to wider testing, unless you have an objection. ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 07:18, January 25, 2011 (UTC)

I don't have any objections. -- Deltaneos (talk) 01:58, January 26, 2011 (UTC)
All right, I'll deploy the styles and write up a forum topic about how users can participate in testing tomorrow. ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 05:01, January 26, 2011 (UTC)

Cyber Dragons

I was notified by Wasn't that someone has seriously messed with the archetype support cat for "Cyber Dragons". If you check Template:Cyber, it's listing every anime/manga only card as "Cyber Dragon" support. I checked a few of the card pages, and it archsupport1 = Cyber Dragons" isn't showing up on them, so I'm thinking it may be a template issue. If not, could your bot help revert everything? Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 16:11, January 25, 2011 (UTC)

I know. I contacted Dinoguy as well, and I have the forum thread on my watchlist. Thanks for the response anyway though. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 00:23, January 26, 2011 (UTC)

Accidental screwup

  • I was trying to help out with the Akiza page, but when I saved my changes, the whole page got blanked somehow. Can you help? --Dark Yugi (talkcontribs) 23:34, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
    • Yep. And I just checked Jesse Anderson's page so I could research him, and his is blank to me too.. --Dark Yugi (talkcontribs) 23:39, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
      • Ok. There is one problem I need ya to look into on her page. It seems that the area listing her Tag Force 5 decks has some sort of issue. I'd do it myself, but I don't want to risk wrecking the page. --Dark Yugi (talkcontribs) 23:53, January 25, 2011 (UTC)

Response for Wikia Anime Twitter

Yes, for the most part recently it's been contests, but that's just because that's the information we had to work with, which is why we're reaching out to you guys to help us fill our feed with interesting anime tweets. You can promote anything on your wiki, even just a character you love or a page that looks amazing! The benefit to individual wikis is that you'll be getting traffic from the twitter posts, without having to manage them (that would be us who manage it)

All you do is make suggestions, and we take care of the rest. And you don't even have to make suggestions if you don't have any (or don't have time), we just offer the opportunity to get the communities involved because you know your topic better than anyone.

We just started asking wikis to "join" which basically just means putting the twitter follow button on your main page so that your users might decide to follow us, the more followers we have, the more people we can share information with.

Yes, this WikiaAnime twitter account is being run by wikia staff. We encourage people to start their own Twitter and Facebook accounts, like the folks listed here: http://community.wikia.com/wiki/Community_Central:Wikia_wikis_on_Facebook and here http://community.wikia.com/wiki/Community_Central:Wikia_wikis_on_Twitter

We also realized that it might be nice for all of the anime wikis if there was a twitter account that was focused not just on one wiki, but on Anime as a genre. That way more people will get to know about more of the Anime wikis.

Basically we wanted to help our Anime network of wikis get traffic and promote themselves, we realize you're all busy, and this solution was a way we could help the largest amount of communities with the least amount of work on your parts...and again please feel free to contribute as you wish!

And thanks for the link! I will totally follow up on that =)

My turn to ask questions xD

  1. Even though your userpage is constantly being vandalised, I'm curious about why you would prefer to unprotect it from vandal edits. Can you please tell me?
  2. Is there a way to hide the 'rollback' button at Special:RecentChanges?
  3. Does 'history merge' work on Files (images)? Should it be done for things like File:DP10-BoosterEN.jpg and File:DP10Yusei-BoosterEN.jpg?
  4. The whole Community portal and discussions page, and the 'view more' buttons on Special:Following kinda disappeared. Do you know what happened to them?
  5. When it says "Block new and unregistered users", what exactly does it mean by new? Users with few contributions, or registered for a short time?
  6. Last question. What deck do you use? (IRL, or preferred deck in a video game, etc.)
Hope you don't mind. Thanks in adv.-Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 02:21, January 27, 2011 (UTC)
  1. (Delt will have to answer this one, though I've got some ideas of my own on his motivations)
  2. Adding the CSS .page-Special_RecentChanges .mw-rollback-link { display: none !important; } should do it (if you want to hide all rollback links, just remove the ".page-Special_RecentChanges" bit).
  3. I'm not sure; I've never tried it myself, and never seen it tried or even asked about before now (but given how histmerging works, I don't see why it wouldn't work). You could upload a couple of images yourself and try it. In the specific case you listed, though, I wouldn't recommend histmerging them (if it is possible) - one image is of the box, and the other is of the pack (we should take the time at some point to nail down naming conventions for these images, though).
  4. The community portal is located here (note that both words in the name are capitalized). I fixed the sidebar link via MediaWiki:Portal-url (evidently, the default value changed in the upgrade; I went ahead and redirected the lowercase title to the correct page). The "view more" buttons on Special:Following are still there on the Wikia skin; it's a bug that they no longer display on Monobook.
  5. "New" means editors that aren't autoconfirmed (which really isn't any clearer). I don't know how it works on Wikia, but on Wikipedia, an account automatically becomes autoconfirmed after it has existed for at least four days and made at least ten edits.
  6. Once again, this is one Delt will have to answer (though based on my own experiences with asking him more personal questions, he seems loathe to say more than he has to ;) ).
Obviously, I'm not Deltaneos, but I saw I could answer lots of these, so I went ahead and did so. =) ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 06:29, January 27, 2011 (UTC)
Your answers are just as welcomed. Thanks.
I also missed a question.
7) About File:AeroShark-JP-Manga-ZX-NC.jpg. ZX would be ZEXAL, and NC is... well I have no idea. Anyways, neither are on the image policy, can you, or Dinoguy please update it? -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 08:11, January 27, 2011 (UTC)
Well, NC means no cards image. It's used when a card that doesn't have its card image avaiable. Blackwings0605 (talk) 13:46, January 27, 2011 (UTC)
They're mostly answered now...
  • I would like to hear Dinoguy's theories for the first question...
  • Wikia's definition of autoconfirmed is the same as the Wikipedia one Dinoguy gave. Or at least it was last time I checked.
  • I use a Twilight/Synchro Deck.
  • As Blackwings said, "NC" is used for "non-card" images. Basically ones that are of spirits or holograms, rather than a card.
-- Deltaneos (talk) 14:39, January 27, 2011 (UTC)
Well, I don't have any really substantial thoughts on the matter, but if I had to guess I would say I think it's along the lines of "let them vent", or something. On the other hand, of course, there are editors who simply don't like the idea of protection in their userspace. ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 15:47, January 27, 2011 (UTC)
1) Rather interesting theories there.
6) Nice, Twilight decks as I remember are very consistent.
7) Cool. So, the Image Policy ought to be updated right? -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 00:00, January 28, 2011 (UTC)
Yes. Feel free to update it. -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:18, January 28, 2011 (UTC)

Misc category in card table destroys spell and traps

Is listing multiple such categories needed. I suppose the best thing to ask would be if this edit is vandalism or not. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 16:44, January 27, 2011 (UTC)

Fair enough, then. I really wasn't sure. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 19:08, January 27, 2011 (UTC)

SMW and equals signs?

SMW seems to choke quite thoroughly on equals signs in values:

  • Damage = Reptile
  • {{ #ask: [[English Name::Damage = Reptile]] }}

Any ideas on how to fix (looking around the SMW documentation some and thinking about it, there may not be one other than stripping out/replacing equals signs, and I couldn't find anything relevant after a quick glance through Bugzilla...)? ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 18:01, January 28, 2011 (UTC)

This problem did pop-up before. Originally CardTable2 wouldn't show the "Other Card Information" links for that particular card. I'm not sure what fixed it in the end.
Stripping/replacing the equals sign is the only solution I can see. Not that you need me to do this, but {{#ifeq: {{ #show: {{#replace: {{PAGENAME}} | = | = }} |?Page Name}} | {{PAGENAME}} | YES | NO }} works. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:46, January 28, 2011 (UTC)
Actually, that doesn't work, but there's probably something similar. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:52, January 28, 2011 (UTC)
The Other Card Information links don't rely on SMW, though. This problem seems to be SMW-specific (unlike my previous character replacement woes).
I tried a few different methods for replacing the equals sign at the point the value is used ({{PAGENAMEE}} and {{urlencode:{{PAGENAME}}}}), they both returned junk. It looks like the only way it could work is to do the replacement when the value is assigned on the card page - anything querying and displaying that value would then have to reverse the replacement to display the correct value (unless SMW has no problem handling = in properties). ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 19:02, January 28, 2011 (UTC)

I did a bit of testing, and it seems SMW has no problem when the value contains = instead of an unescaped = : It's not going to be much fun updating {{CardTable2}} to properly escape values with equals signs, though (not to mention tracking down and updating other templates which set property values). ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 16:49, January 29, 2011 (UTC)

Archrelated

I was reading a conversation from a while back at Talk:Warriors, and noticed your comments about the misuse of the archrelated parameter. Regardless of the original intention of the parameter, it's rarely used that way. Some other uses I can see being appropriate, but at some points, it can get pretty ridiculous. See here for a nice example. Judging by how often it gets misused, I think some clarification is really needed, or we it's intended use needs to change. Tragoedia -> Kar

I have just received my monthly issue of the English Shonen JUMP. In it, there is a Yu-Gi-Oh! timeline, which encompasses the mangas. It notes that the main antagonist (or at least would hint to being the main antagonist) as a being/person/entity named Kar. The text box reads: "Yu-Gi-Oh! wouldn't be Yu-Gi-Oh! without an ancient Egyptian villain! In GX, Kar is the Pharoah's ex-philosopher who desires the spirit cards for his own sinister scheme.". A couple other important text groupings on the timeline: "Two Americans, David Rabb and Reggie McKenzie, visit the Duel Academy, but they're not there just to hone their Dueling skills. They've got their eyes set on two spirit cards-Jaden's Winged Kuriboh and Chazz's Light and Darkness Dragon." and "The dark Shadow Games reemerge, as the Americans are willing to risk everything to obtain the spirit cards for their leader Kar.". (all bold and italic text is bold and/or italic in the manga, along with any and all misspellings seen here) The short over-view of Kar is parallel to the bio of Tragoedia. If you would like, I can give pictures of the manga page. DemonGodAsura (talkcontribs) 06:28, January 31, 2011 (UTC)

It doesn't give specific dates, just the volume of the GX manga that each of the above text describes. However, the description of Kar is not accompanied with any volume. Would you like that? DemonGodAsura (talkcontribs) 16:26, January 31, 2011 (UTC)
I meant would you like the volume number that is associated with each text box. This is the description of Kar: "Yu-Gi-Oh! wouldn't be Yu-Gi-Oh! without an ancient Egyptian villain! In GX, Kar is the Pharoah's ex-philosopher who desires the spirit cards for his own sinister scheme."
This matches Tragoedia's ancient past, but seems to not be Principal MacKenzie. Also, the names are given as McKenzie, rather than MacKenzie. DemonGodAsura (talkcontribs) 19:48, January 31, 2011 (UTC)
From what I've heard, volume four of the English manga does correctly call him Tragoedia, but I can't confirm that myself. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 21:18, January 31, 2011 (UTC)
