destiny board article

I layed out the article as in the format of a solo talk. When I describe something properly, I go into a lot of detail and so as not to confuse or repeat myself, I arrange things into groups.

I have trouble descripbing things, so it's easier for me to lay out the article in this format.

And also for your information, I was playing the game on my gameboy at the same time. That's actually why I wrote the article.

I was wanting to read about the game here, but couldn't find any articles. So, I created one.

If you're still displeased with the layout of the article, then feel free to edit it as you see fit.

Duel Summaries

Oh ok, that's no problem, as long as you keep the "Anime and Manga Appearances" articles on the cards. Just change the link from the Duel to the Episode name, such as Yami Yugi vs. Mimic of Doom to Episode 9: Give up the Ghost (heck, we don't even have an article for that episode yet), but i have a question though, what are you going to do if the Duel took place in more than one episode? how are you going to merge them? Not reallly. Nobody really uses these cards in PDL. They will mostly use an egyptian god card strategy. The chaos duelists that used to dominate everyone in our town with those cards until I changed the effects to what they are now. You cannot win a duel with those cards. The reason for the Fusion template is because I've noticed a lot of cards dedicated to summoning Fusion Monsters, so I figured, what could it hurt to group them together?

The reason for the other templates is because I've seen another Wiki that uses similar templates as shortcuts to listing categories.

Deleting?

Now that I've found a a simpler way to use some of my templates, I can delete some of the new pages I've created, but I don't know how to do that, and if I don't do it, I feel like it will clutter up the Wikia and lead viewers to irrelevant pages. Can you give me some pointers?

Problems with Individual Card Galleries

Hey, just wondering if you had any idea on why some of the galleries' images show up and some just show up as "X"'s. Just wondering if it was something in the code or if there was anything wrong with the new setup. Just working on fixing the galleries, finding all the missing pictures I'm able to find, and adding in new galleries again. Example Acid Trap Hole gallery. Look234 01:37, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Night Soldier

I agree that there's no need to keep the card table, since none of the card's attributes were revealed. Night Soldier was destroyed in battle by Ryu-Kishin in the anime, so it was far weaker than its Bandai OCG counterpart, but the exact quantities were not shown anyway.

Perhaps we can keep that page and the image, though, if some changes are made to the page.

    • That does not sound too bad. Would you set it up like this User: Look234/Example, with the japanese and english versions if they are different from each other, and as for video games I would either put the most recent picture, or the picture from every game. If you did one from every game though, you would probably have a bunch on some like Blue-Eyes. Its up to you people though. I'm just helping when I have the time.

The Rainbow's Whereabouts

I'm not sure if "1 Rainbow Dragon card" could be used, since Rainbow Dark Dragon has that whole "Dark" thing in between "Rainbow" and "Dragon". That might ruin the effect, but I'm not exactly sure. I can't find a comparable example, so I'm going on the safe side.

As for Volcanic Rocket, Tri-Blaze Accelerator is still a Blaze Accelerator card since it's Tri-Blaze Accelerator, with nothing inbetween. --Deus Ex Machina 18:10, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

In search of Tomato Toolbox Deck and scope issues

I'd guess the article was a cut'n'paste move of Tomato Toolbox (there's still an article in the version history of this now dead redirect.)

Did you delete

  • because it was a cut'n'paste move
  • because you'd consider the topic out of scope
  • or because you judged the article quality to be infererior?

Anyway, how much are strategy articles, especially on a beginner level, in scope here? Is there any prior discussion of this?

And, if I want to present an overview of seeker monsters (and it would be considered in scope), what's a good lemma for this? Seeker ist taken...

  • I think you want me to reply here. It wasn't so much a cut and paste move. They were too similar pages the content got merged and one was redirected. It wasn't really a Deck article, it just gave a list of candidates for Mystic Tomatoes' effect and a description of each. We prefer to details of strategies covered in Deck pages rather than listing cards. Listing good monsters Mystic Tomato can summon isn't worthy of a Deck page, but it's alright to have it in Card Tips:Mystic Tomato. -- Deltaneos 21:41, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

  • Ah regarding the seekers, we have the page Searcher. But since Seeker is likely to be typed into the searchbar in search of this class of monsters, we could change Seeker to a disambig or add a notice on either of the pages directing to the Searcher page like on Ante. You needn't think the Rare Hunter page gets preference for having Seeker as a redirect. One of my friends found one of Moore's computer memory sticks at his house. In the calendar program that he has he has several dates with text in 30 different languages. In a nutshell he is the last member of KDL. He is the person who I won the KDL titles from. Also he is one of the people that I sent to destroy Jeremy Moore's Duelist League (which he succeded at). Recently he told me and Tyrant Slayer that he found a memory stick at his friend's house that Moore left there. What is on it I do not know. Ask X.
