Card Rulings: Mausoleum of the Emperor

Just a correction on your reasoning for the edit on Mausoleum of the Emperor Ruling page. Spell Economics works on ALL Magic cards. Not just Normal or Field or anything else. The reason that guy's tip didn't work is because Economics only makes paying to ACTIVATE Magic cards themselves free. NOT activate the effects of already active Magic cards. If it did, the Mausoleum trick would be legal, not for the reason you said. His tip was wrong, but you shouldn't tell him the wrong reason for it. No, I said the eyes were covered by a mask. The face itself in the Manga was not covered. It was located in the Eraser's Demon-like mouth. The Fiendish mouth it was located, like a brain teaser, must be looked at carefully. If looked at Page 96 of Yu-Gi-Oh! R Volume 5, one can clearly see a nose and a mouth. Graveyard's Reptile Deck

I'll help you out, but do you have a price range, and access to any and all cards that would be needed? Are you opposed to using Venom Swamp? I know it takes up space, but it works great in conjunction with Venominaga's insta-win ability. Okay, here's the Deck with some minor changes:

I didn't change a lot, but I got rid of the Interplanetary Invader "A"s, since they pretty much kill you on their own. I also got rid of the three Mystic Tomatos for three Oshaleons, which are FAR better, since Mystic Tomato can't bring out the king. Allure of Darkness and Viel of Darkness both support draw power, and viel fills the grave with more reptiles. Traded 1 Shock Trooper for a Lion Alligator, since they have the same Attack but Alligator has an effect. Mask of Darkness/A Cat of III Omen search Rise of the Snake Diety, which should never have been run in threes. Having three Snake Rains would have caused you to Deck out long before you won with Vennominaga or reduced the opponent's life points to 0. Damage = Reptile/Damage Condenser can summon Vennominion straight from the Deck for the suffering of a few Life Points, so Interplanetary Invader might have been good for it, but he was replaced worthily. Venom Swamp was used instead of the other two Snake Rains, since it actually gace the Venom Monsters a fighting chance. Transmigration adds two cards you can use/re-use back to your Deck, and Venom Shot and Ambush Fangs put more Counters on. I hope I didn't stray too far away from your original goal, so if you're not happy with it, or you have any questions/concerns, let me know and I'll help you out, I'll even completely redo it if you ask me to. Re: Gusta Box Error

Damn, it's a bug with SMW. Those pages can appear multiple times in queries (see: here) We have the same problem with Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's - Ride 008. (see: here) Last time I asked about this, I was told there's nothing we can do to fix it, so we can just hope that the developers for SMW manage to fix it in their next release. You're welcome for the edits of the Deck. I see that you don't necissarily know how to edit the colors/Decklist name, or you don't care.

If you don't know how, it should look like this:
|color = (insert lowercase color here, basic colors ONLY)
|color2 = (See above, it's nice if the colors reflect your Deck or compliment each other)

Page protections and Decks for Free

Hello FredCat. Thanks for coming to me. Let's have a look at the problem.

Yes, you're right there were some capitalisation and other small grammar mistakes being made on that page. Thank you for keeping the grammar clean. I can understand how annoying it must be for you, when the same mistake is made again after you revert or fix it. Are you having this problem on other pages too?

Reverting the edits and requesting that the page be protected when the problem continues is one option. I see you went with this. It's good, you're ensuring the page stays clean and you gave them a chance to stop or do it right before trying to prevent them from editing it outright.

But there is another option. You can try talking to the user. Explain what mistake they are making and how to avoid making the same mistake again. And try to be polite about it. When people act rude, we usually don't want to do things their way. Anyway, it's a lot better to show someone how to do something right and have them help the site, than tell them to stop altogether. This way the page doesn't need to be protected.

The second option is a bit harder than the first. But if you try this rather than shouting at people, they're less likely to get mad at you and post rude or offensive comments on your talk page and you won't need to ask for your talk page to be protected.

I see you're also having some trouble with the Decks for Free! forum. Having your request quickly removed is also annoying. However, one request per person at a time is what the people working on the Decks have chosen. You can suggest changes on the talk page if you want. Everyone is allowed their say and decisions are based on what the community agree on.

Also remember that that forum is a free service that people are offering in their spare time. How people spend their spare time is up to them, we can't really them how they should spend it. And with them getting lots of requests, it's not easy to get around to everyone so quickly.

They're not trying to cause you problems. At least not on purpose. The Decks for Free! forum is something people do as a favour. If someone offers you a favour, it's something they're doing out of the goodness of their heart. You shouldn't try to enforce a time limit or order them to help you before everyone else, since you're not paying them to do it.

You can re-add your request if you want and someone might get to it in their own time, which may not be the date you specified. If you really want your request taken care of quickly, Decks for Free! probably isn't the best place to post it.

If you want to trust other people and them to trust you, you need to give them more time and try not to yell at them so much. Try treating them the same way that you would like them to threat you and you'll find that they will be friendlier to you. -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:57, August 12, 2010 (UTC)

Imagine this: If you gave someone a rare card for free, no strings attached, they can't force you to give them two copies of it because it's what they need. And if they called you and your friends insulting names, would you give them anything for free?

Compare it to this situation, they're offering to help people with their Decks for free. A person can't force them to do more than they are offering because it's more convenient for that person. And if that person insulted them and called them names, it's even less likely that they will help that person at all.

Hmmm... That's a pretty interesting deck you got there. It's gonna be a little tricky working with it. Exactly how does this deck work? Have you playtested this deck? If so, how well does it stand up to other decks?

Some card you can add: Amulet of Ambition, Emissary of the Afterlife, Common Charity, Stranger's Compensation (when it's out), Non-Spellcasting Area, Attack of the Cornered Rat.... well that's all I can think of. Check this page for more normal monster support: [1].

Re: Difference between Real Card and Create Card

That section was disabled in user pages since it would cause users to create pages like Card Rulings:User:Name/Card, which would be in the rulings namespace rather than user. And creating other card information pages for user page cards seems like too much detail for here and better suited to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Maker Wiki.

If you think the articles shouldn't be deleted on that wiki, you should post why you disagree on their talk pages or consult one of the more experienced users on that site. Personally I don't think we should include effects unless they have been confirmed. Gadjiltron is the one who added that effect and also marked it as unconfirmed. I'd ask him where he got the effect and if the source is reliable enough keep it and remove the unconfirmed notice.
