Don't do that again. I already get notifications when someone edits my talk page, and creating pointless articles in Recent Changes isn't going to grab my attention any faster.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 00:37, September 23, 2013 (UTC)

Card Rulings Talk Pages[edit]

If you have questions about how certain card interactions work, don't put them on Card Ruling Talk Pages. Just go to the forums (which you can find by going up to the top of any Wiki page, and hover your mouse over "Community" in the yellow bar, where you can find it) and create a topic in our Ruling's forum. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 18:35, January 10, 2014 (UTC)

RE: 2008 Help[edit]

Well, I haven't played 2008 for a long time, so my skill might be rusty. First, since you are stuck in the Duel World Darkness, would you like to tell me what your partner is and what Deck you are using? WinterNightmare (talkcontribs) 01:20, January 13, 2014 (UTC)

I see so your Deck is to use "Lava Golem" and burn/stall the Duel or is there another way to win beside "Lava Golem"? Hmmm, "Lava Golem" is a double-edge sword if you have no good way to stall, it can inflict a lot of damages. Technology, when I go for the stalling method, I usually never used "Lava Golem", I usually use the "Stealth Bird", "Wave-Motion Cannon", "Stumbling" and "Level Limit - Area B" combo or use the "Gravekeeper's" Deck. Another method I use, is to Deck Out the opponent while burn the Life Point along, just in case, if everything fails. The combo involve "Destiny HERO - Defender", "Dark Bribe" and some stall cards. Since you struck in the brainwashing challenge, stalling might not work, as your current partner for now, are low-Level skills nor did not have the same Deck as you. With two different Decks, the odds are slim. If I recall how I did it, I ran a Beatdown Deck or run the same Deck that my partner used. For "Harpie Queen", I relied on my luck to beat it, since there were no good cards in the beginning of the Game. Since "Harpie Queen" and "Harpie Girl" ran an effective Deck that can swarm the field while destroy the Spell/Trap cards. The hint I can give is to stop them from using "Harpies' Hunting Ground" because once that out, it can be Game Over. WinterNightmare (talkcontribs) 03:23, January 14, 2014 (UTC)

RE: 2008 Help Again[edit]

Sadly, you can't have a partner from a stone monuments. WinterNightmare (talkcontribs) 02:32, January 18, 2014 (UTC)

RE: 2008 Help Vennominaga[edit]

To beat "Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes", you need to summon "Vennominaga", then you use her effects. You need to placed all 3 Hyper-Venom Counters on herself to win the Duel. Inflicting Battle or Effect damages, will not win the Duel, just using her effect only. WinterNightmare (talkcontribs) 04:18, January 22, 2014 (UTC)

Also, you need Vennominaga to have enough Life Points to survive, as you can accidentally win the Duel, while not having the 3 Hyper-Venom Counters. WinterNightmare (talkcontribs) 04:40, January 22, 2014 (UTC)

RE: 2008 Senju 5 Turn Challenge[edit]

Well, there are many ways to defeat Senju in 5 turns. There are the Instant Win and One Turn Kill. Since you use the "Exodia" Deck, there are many variety of this Deck that can pull an Instant Win. I believe your "Exodia" Deck was slow and ineffective. What I use to defeat Senju was the One Turn Kill, I didn't use "Exodia" Deck since it require luck and skill to pull all 5 "Exodia" pieces in one turn. The method I use was the Demise/Doom OTK, depend on the turn order, I can easily summon "Demise, King of Armageddon" and "Doom Dozer" or another "Demise" in one turn. First summon "Demise", then pay 2,000 to destroy everything on the field and summon "Doom Dozer" or another "Demise" to attack directly for 5,200 or 4,800. Next turn, you can pay 2,000 to destroy everything and summon a monster higher than 500 ATK. Attack directly to win the Duel. Or, not pay 2,000 and summon a monster to defeat the weak monster, then attack with "Demise" and "Doom Dozer" to win the Duel. It take two turns to win the Duel, but it depend on what I had in my hand or my opponent has before I pull off the One Turn Kill, after all, I can still lose. Remember to defeat Senju, you can use either the Instant Win or One Turn Kill. WinterNightmare (talkcontribs) 01:55, February 21, 2014 (UTC)

RE: 2008 Tournament 3[edit]

I would recommend that you use your best Deck to defeat them, since all anime characters have different styles to counter the Deck. It shouldn't be a Deck that can focus on Burn damage or automatic win, since they can easily counter with their beatdown-like style. You can play a lockdown Deck, but Yami Marik or Yami Bakura can lock/burn your Life Points easily, so you got to be caution. The Deck can be a beatdown style, the problem is that your opponent can play a stronger monster than your monster. Another problem is that you don't encounter the anime characters, instead encounter the game characters and that could throw off your Deck. The biggest threat in term of skills should be Yami Yugi with his "Spellcaster" Deck, he can play "Skilled Dark Magician" (1900 ATK), then play "Dark Magician" after he activates his three Spell Cards. Another threat would be Seto Kaiba with his "Blue-Eyes" Deck, he has "Vorse Raider" (1900 ATK), "Crush Card Virus" and "Shrink". Though I am worry about Bastion Misawa's "WIND" Deck (high ATK) and Ishizu Ishtar's Gravekeeper's" Deck (high ATK/DEF). In term of OTK, you should worry about Zane Truesdale's "Cyber" Deck, "Cyber End Dragon" and "Chimeratech Fortress Dragon". The rest would require luck and skills to defeat. Good luck. WinterNightmare (talkcontribs) 21:41, March 8, 2014 (UTC)

Usually, I don't reveal my signature Deck, but I am ok with it. The Decks that I used are "Six Samurai" and "Macro Cosmos"/"Skill Drain" Deck. The "Six Samurai" Deck focus on Summoning the "Great Shogun Shien", since he can force the opponent to play one Spell/Trap card. "The Six Samurai - Yaichi" destroy one facedown Spell/Trap card, "The Six Samurai - Irou" instantly destroy one facedown monster, "The Six Samurai - Zanji" destroy one monster and "Grandmaster of the Six Samurai" can be revive by removing one "Six Samurai". With other "Six Samurais" around, they can protect each others. Also, you can Summon "Great Shogun Shien" in one turn if you Summon one "Six Samurai" monster, then Summon "Grandmaster". The "Macro Cosmos"/"Skill Drain" Deck focus on Summoning "Beast King Barbaros" or "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast", well removing the card and negating the monster's effect. So I play a lockdown/beatdown style Deck. WinterNightmare (talkcontribs) 16:28, March 9, 2014 (UTC)

Card Rulings[edit]

Do not edit Card Rulings pages without including citing an official Konami source that anyone can access. Such edits will be reverted, regardless if the inputted ruling was true or false. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 01:16, November 12, 2015 (UTC)

Editing[edit]

Please pay attention when editing and preview your posts. Leaving red links to cards just because you didn't care about typing the card name correctly (even without capital letters) and you didn't preview is just not conceivable. So please try to pay attention. It's not the first time I've seen this from you. There's also a manual of style that should be followed. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 10:33, March 7, 2017 (UTC)

Tips on Trivia Pages[edit]

Why do you keep putting tips on trivia pages? They serve no purpose at all. --MasterMarik (talkcontribs) 23:41, August 22, 2017 (UTC)

I'ts not a tip though, it's just trivia as to how simple it is to duel-win. I mentioned using The True Name 3 times successfully; that's a 1 in 1 million chance, certainly not a tip. Pikazilla (talkcontribs) 10:13, August 23, 2017 (UTC)
It IS a tip. You're telling how to use the card. That's a tip by definition. Trivia should be info specific to that monster that doesn't say how to use it. --MasterMarik (talkcontribs) 14:48, August 23, 2017 (UTC)
I am explaining a very specific and unlikely situation; realistically this isn't a guaranteed strategy like what a tip is. Pikazilla (talkcontribs) 17:33, August 23, 2017 (UTC)
Tips aren't guaranteed either. What you posted is literally a tip. It's just a poorly written tip. Trivia is NOT meant to showcase how to use the card. --MasterMarik (talkcontribs) 17:39, August 23, 2017 (UTC)
Then move it to tips then. Pikazilla (talkcontribs) 22:53, August 23, 2017 (UTC)
Pikazilla, those look like tips, yes. Just don't insert them on trivia pages. Besides, don't list simple/irrelevant/too specific tips, please. Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 23:43, August 23, 2017 (UTC)
