In Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters (Yu-Gi-Oh!), she voiced Ryo Bakura (Bakura Ryou) and Dark Bakura (Yami Bakura) (from episode 12 to episode 41), which she stepped down from due to her health condition. Her role as Bakura was replaced by Rica Matsumoto.[2].
Death[edit]
Inoue was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2001. She had an operation during 2002 and was rehospitalized in December 2002. Her condition got worse towards the end of February 2003 and she passed away on February 28, 2003 (aged 56 years). Her funeral took place on March 6.[1]
