"Nearer to God" is the 170th chapter of the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga. In its first English printing, it was numbered as the 111th chapter of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist. In the 3-in-1 edition, its number was changed to match the original Japanese printing.
Marik Ishtar heads to Domino City for the Battle City tournament. While he does so he sends his Doll, who is equipped with "Slifer the Sky Dragon" in the direction of Yugi Mutou.
