The Duel is conducted as a Speed Duel.

Turn 1: The Shepherd
Shepherd Normal Summons "Drone Corporal" (1600/1200). Shepherd Sets a card.

Turn 2: Ghost Gal
As Ghost Gal controls no cards, she activates the Trap "Infinite Impermanence" from her hand, targeting a face-up monster Shepherd controls and negating its effects until the end of this turn. She targets "Corporal". As a card or effect was activated that targeted "Corporal", Shepherd activates its effect, negating that effect, also neither player can target "Corporal" with card effects for the rest of this turn. The effect of "Infinite Impermanence" is negated. As Ghost Gal activated a Trap Card, Ghost Gal activates the effect of "Altergeist Multifaker" in her hand, Special Summoning it (1200/800). As "Multifaker" was Special Summoned, Ghost Gal activates its effect, Special Summoning a different "Altergeist" monster from her Deck in Defense Position. She Special Summons "Altergeist Meluseek" (500/300). Ghost Gal Normal Summons "Altergeist Marionetter" (1600/1700). As "Marionetter" was Normal Summoned, Ghost Gal activates its effect, Setting an "Altergeist" Trap directly from her Deck to her Spell & Trap Zone. She Sets "Altergeist Haunted Rock". As the Continuous Trap "Altergeist Haunted Rock" was Set by the effect of an "Altergeist" card, Ghost Gal activates it the turn it was Set, sending an "Altergeist" monster from her hand to the GY. She sends "Altergeist Fifinellag". Ghost Gal sets "Multifaker" and "Meluseek" in the Link Arrows to Link Summon "Altergeist Hexstia" (1500/↓→) to the Extra Monster Zone. As "Meluseek" was sent from the field to the GY, Ghost Gal activates its effect, adding a different "Altergeist" monster from her Deck to her hand. She adds "Multifaker". The effect of "Hexstia" increases its ATK equal to the original ATK of each "Altergeist" monster it points to. It points to "Marionetter" ("Hexstia": 1500 → 3100 ATK). Ghost Gal activates the effect of "Marionetter", targeting an "Altergeist" card she controls and an "Altergeist" monster in her GY, and sending that card on the field to the GY, then Special Summoning that other monster from her GY. She targets "Haunted Rock" she controls and "Altergeist Fifinellag" in her GY, sends "Haunted Rock", then Special Summons "Fifinellag" (0/1000).

Ghost Gal tunes the Level 2 Tuner "Fifinellag" with the Level 4 "Marionetter" to Synchro Summon the Level 6 "Altergeist Dragvirion" (2200/1200) to the zone "Hexstia" points to ("Hexstia": 3100 → 3700 ATK). As Shepherd controls a "Drone" monster, he activates the Continuous Trap "Capture Drone", targeting a Link Monster Ghost Gal controls and negating the effects of that monster while it is on the field, also it cannot be Tributed or be used as Link Material. He targets "Hexstia". As a Spell/Trap Card or effect was activated, Ghost Gal activates the effect of "Hexstia", Tributing an "Altergeist" monster it points to to negate the activation, then destroy that card. She Tributes "Dragvirion" to negate the activation of "Capture Drone" and destroy it ("Hexstia": 3700 → 1500 ATK). As "Dragvirion" was Tributed and sent to the GY, Ghost Gal activates its effect, Special Summoning it. She Special Summons it (2200/1200) to the zone the bottom Link Arrow of "Hexstia" points to ("Hexstia": 1500 → 3700 ATK). "Dragvirion" attacks and destroys "Corporal" (Shepherd: 4000 → 3400 LP). "Hexstia" attacks Shepherd directly. As Ghost Gal's monster declared a direct attack, Shepherd activates the effect of "Drone Asteroid" in his hand, sending it to the GY to negate the attack, then Special Summon "Drone Tokens" up to the number of monsters Ghost Gal controls. The attack of "Hexstia" is negated, and Ghost Gal controls "Hexstia" and "Dragvirion", so Shepherd Special Summons two "Drone Tokens" (0/0).

Turn 3: The Shepherd
Shepherd Normal Summons "Drone Carrier" (800/1000). Shepherd sets "Drone Carrier" and two "Drone Tokens" in the Link Arrows to Link Summon "Battledrone General" (2400/←↓→) to the Extra Monster Zone. Shepherd activates the effect of "General", targeting a "Drone" monster in his GY and Special Summoning it to his zone "General" points to. He targets and Special Summons "Carrier" (800/1000). As "Carrier" was Special Summoned by the effect of a "Drone" monster, Shepherd activates its effect, targeting a "Drone" monster in his GY and Special Summoning it. He targets and Special Summons "Corporal" (1600/1200). Shepherd activates the effect of "General", targeting a Level 4 or lower "Drone" monster he controls with 1000 or less ATK and allowing it to attack directly this turn. He targets the Level 2 "Carrier". The effect of "Corporal" allows it to attack directly, but when it does so using this effect, the battle damage inflicted to Ghost Gal is halved. "Corporal" attacks Ghost Gal directly. As Shepherd's monster declared an attack while Ghost Gal controls an "Altergeist" card, Ghost Gal activates the effect of "Altergeist Kunquery" in her hand, Special Summoning it, then negating that attack. She Special Summons "Kunquery" (0/2400) and negates the attack of "Corporal". As "Kunquery" was Special Summoned, Ghost Gal activates its effect, targeting a face-up card Shepherd controls and negate the effects of that card while it and "Kunquery" are face-up on the field. She targets and negates the effects of "General". Shepherd activates the Quick-Play Spell "Drone Force Tuning". Immediately after the effect of "Drone Force Tuning" resolves, Shepherd Synchro Summons a Synchro Monster using monsters he controls, including a "Drone" monster that did not inflict battle damage this turn, then it gains an effect. As a Spell/Trap Card or effect was activated, Ghost Gal activates the effect of "Hexstia", Tributing an "Altergeist" monster it points to to negate the activation, then destroy that card. She Tributes "Dragvirion" ("Hexstia": 3700 → 1500 ATK). The activation and effect of "Drone Force Tuning" cannot be negated. The effect of "Hexstia" resolves, but the activation of "Drone Force Tuning" is not negated. The effect of "Drone Force Tuning" resolves, and Shepherd tunes the Level 2 Tuner "Carrier" with the Level 4 "Corporal" to Synchro Summon "Commandrone Double Sniper" (2000/2600) to the zone the bottom Link Arrow of "General" points to.

"General" attacks "Dragvirion". As Shepherd's monster declared an attack, Ghost Gal activates the effect of "Dragvirion", returning 1 "Altergeist" monster she controls to the hand to negate the attack. She returns "Kunquery" to her hand to negate the attack of "General". Each time a card or effect is activated that would negate an attack or card effect, the effect of "Double Sniper" places a Drone Counter on it after that effect resolves ("Double Sniper": 0 → 1 Drone Counter). Shepherd activates his Skill "Drone Force", reducing the ATK of one of Ghost Gal's monsters by 200 for each "Drone" card in his GY until the end of this turn, then a "Drone" monster he controls gains the same amount of ATK until the end of this turn. There are five "Drone" cards in Shepherd's GY, so he reduces the ATK of "Dragvirion" and increases the ATK of "General" by 1000 ("Dragvirion": 2200 → 1200 ATK, "General": 2400 → 3400 ATK). "Double Sniper" attacks "Dragvirion". As Shepherd's monster declared an attack while Ghost Gal controls an "Altergeist" card, Ghost Gal activates the effect of "Kunquery" in her hand, Special Summoning it, then negating that attack. She Special Summons "Kunquery" (0/2400) and negates the attack of "Double Sniper" ("Double Sniper": 1 → 2 Drone Counters). As "Kunquery" was Special Summoned, Ghost Gal activates its effect, targeting a face-up card Shepherd controls and negate the effects of that card while it and "Kunquery" are face-up on the field. She targets "General". As Ghost Gal activated a monster effect while there are two Drone Counters on "Double Sniper", Shepherd activates its effect, negating that effect, then destroying that card, then inflicting 1000 damage to Ghost Gal. The effect of "Kunquery" is negated and it is destroyed (Ghost Gal: 4000 → 3000 LP). While one or more Drone Counters are on "Double Sniper", its effect allows it to make a second attack during each Battle Phase, also it can attack directly, but when it does so using this effect, the battle damage inflicted to Ghost Gal becomes 1000. "Double Sniper" attacks Ghost Gal directly (Ghost Gal: 3000 → 2000 LP). As Shepherd's "Drone" monster inflicted battle damage to Ghost Gal by a direct attack, Shepherd activates the effect of "General", Tributing that monster to inflict damage to Ghost Gal equal to the ATK that monster had on the field. He Tributes "Double Sniper" (Ghost Gal: 2000 → 0 LP).
