Zombire (ゾンバイア Zonbaia), known as Zompire in the Dungeon Dice Monsters video game and in Reshef of Destruction, is an American comic book hero, existing in the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga. He is based on the super hero Spawn and has an OCG/TCG card based on him, "Zombyra the Dark".
Biography[edit]
Zombire was once the God of Death, but he then learned how to love and began fighting evil. This causes his face to rot and shorten his lifespan, but Zombire continues to fight evil regardless. His name probably is a combination of "zombie" and "vampire".
Influence[edit]
In the manga, Tomoya Hanasaki and his family are obsessed with the hero and have a massive amount of Zombire merchandise. Tomoya goes as far as wearing a Zombire costume and attempting to become a hero himself.
