==Biography==
When [[Yusei Fudo (manga)|Yusei]] was [[attack]]ed by [[Skeleton Knight|Roman]]'s "[[DragococytusDragocytus, the Impure Underworld Dragon]]", a brief vision of Ix and Roman being pierced by [[Rex Goodwin (manga)|Rex]] with a jousting lance appeared in his mind.<ref>{{chapter|Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's|49|ref}}</ref>
Later, when Roman was defeated by Yusei, he told Yusei about his and Rex's history. 5000 years ago, they both were poor kids who had nothing and had to steal in order to survive. One day, Ix found them and adopted them as her brothers, giving them names - Roman (Rudger in the Japanese version) and Rex Goodwin.
