* When played in the anime, the seal removes obstuctions that would disrupt its pattern; seen in [[Deja Duel! - Part 2]] and Flight of Terror, where the duel arena and part of the KC plane vanished, leaving Alister and Kaiba floating in mid-air.
** Also a usually invisible dome traps the players inside the seal.
